8/10 Very Good

Beautiful bungalows
My husband and I stayed here for several nights on our honeymoon before the earthquake (we had extended our stay on Gili Meno but had moved to another hotel because Adeng Adeng was full). Overall our bungalow was lovely! It was spacious and clean and had a beautiful outdoor bathroom with a good shower. The light was good day and night and the decoration was thoughtful. The AC worked beautifully. There are only 5 bungalows spread out in a fairly large garden and it felt incredibly private to us. Others commented on mosquitos and it did seem like it wasn’t set up well for mosquito protection (eg no mosquito net and fan didn’t point to the bed) but they offered free mosquito spray and honestly we only saw a few in our room. Breakfast was really good with individual French press coffee and great juices and banana pancakes. We didn’t eat at the restaurant for other meals. The biggest downside for me was the beach- there is no shade at all and it isn’t a good swimming beach (nothing on the north side of the island is really). It is a nice spot to watch the sunset though but before sunset it was just too hot without shade to be enjoyable. I don’t know how Adeng Adeng fared with the earthquake but I wish them luck in the aftermath.
