This lodge was inside the park and just a short drive from the South Rim. Very adequate lodging if you're looking to stay inside the park and experience everything nearby!

Always a pleasure to stay at the Yavupai Lodge. Friendly staff, nicely upgraded rooms, reasonable rates. Dog-friendliness is a plus!

2/10 Poor

Yavapai Lodge, Grand Canyon
The rooms might have been adequate about 50 years ago but they are primitive and "tired" as well as very small and uncomfortable.

6/10 Good

We chose this place because it's inside the park and operator said recently remodeled but it was actually just fresh paint. But for the price it was not bad.

Comfy and restful stay!
Our stay at Yavapai was super comfortable and restful. We loved staying in the park so we could start exploring early... and after all that hiking, to be close to the dining hall for dinner was very convenient. It was so nice and quiet at night... plus there is a great view of the stars right outside. In the morning we saw two deer right outside the window!! The room was very clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable. Would stay here again!
3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The window looked out into the wilderness and we saw deer and other animals without leaving the room.
