Dissapointing
It just was awful from jump. I arrived early with kids they wanted to charge me 50 to come in early, which they didn’t thankfully but they didn’t specify about parking until I was already there and I had two kids under 4 and they put me on a. Second floor after I requested bottom because of the walk with the kids and parking. The. Restaurant was terrible they refuse to honor my free appetizer and then the food was awful And I never even got the breadstick with my pasta. Also never got towels the housekeeper didn’t speak English and couldn’t understand me and I needed new towels and I overslept this morning and rushed out for Checkout because there’s no damn alarm Clock there . So yes it wasn’t a pleasant seat and the hot tub barely works. Oh not to mention the mattresses were so uncomfortable all springs time for some new ones.

Disappointed
Their computer system was down so everyone had to wait in a super long line to check in and was checked in late. The hotel should have a business continuity plan for when this happens, but they explained they do not have one, so everyone just had to wait in the lobby. Finally got checked in and bed is all lumpy and hard, not comfortable at all. They need to invest in new mattresses. Room smelled like stale cigarettes even though they told us the room is non smoking - I don’t believe that at all. We also didn’t get any sleep because a main door located just outside our room was constantly being open and slammed shut throughout the night. This was the most disappointing experience we have ever had with a Hilton garden. We will be sure to never stay here again.

Stay for concert
Stay was ok. Hotel seems dated, bed not very comfortable and surprised bottle water in room is $2 not complementary. Also a bit shocking the fee for the parking garage. Just add tot he hotel cost as everyone needs to park I would think. Lastly after going to a show at DCU, nothing to come back to the hotels to like a bar or food.

4 pm is late for a check in time. Extra $ for parking across busy street was inconvenient. To pay extra for breakfast was the first time I encountered that. Didn't see it in the write up before. Seemed cheesy to me. we didn't eat there. Very ordinary experience for the money. Next time we'll stay out of town instead of down town.

Convenient location.....right across the street from DCU Center, which was the purpose of the trip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved that an UNO Chicago Grill is attached to the hotel - no need to leave hotel to search for a restaurant. Did have a little difficulty figuring out TV navigation, but that is no big deal.

DCU Center show
Hotel was very convenient to DCU Center. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk personnel were pleasant. Room was nice, had decent amenities. There was some trash under the bed (empty water bottle and vape pen). We did go to the UNO's restraunt within the hotel, sat at the bar, but ended up leaving because of the smell and flies. All in all it was a decent stay.
