First Sonder
My first stay at a Sonder property, and it took some getting used to. The room itself was quite nice and well-equipped, and the location was near lots of worthwhile attractions. My room was directly on the street, and it was noisy on Fri/Sat nights till quite late. Earplugs were provided on the nightstand, though. Customer service was indifferent, but ... that's not really what you're paying for at Sonder, i think. I'd probably stay here again.

Cute little apartment
This is the second Sonder apartment that I have stayed in. Its clean has all you need to cook and do your washing. It is located near to the city centre so was a bit noisy but, ear plugs and a white noise machine were provided so not an issue. Will stay again on my next trip.

Check in on Saturday afternoon and the TV and streaming system was non-functional. Discussed this with the front desk Saturday, again on Sunday, again on Monday and again on Tuesday. Checked out late Tuesday and it was never even checked and certainly it resolved. Pretty unsatisfactory. The rest was good.

Was in a great location. Alot of things to do with in walking distance. Also other options if you dont wanna walk close by. Was in town for the Football game. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Had a great 4 days in the city. Did alot of site seeing because it was all so close.

I tried the Sonder Hotel, which I had never heard of, because most of the hotels in Philadelphia were booked. The hotel was great. The apartment was tastefully decorated, kitchen fully stocked, clean, bright and very comfortable bed. It was easy to make the reservation and access the room. My only complaint is the couch in the living room was very uncomfortable. I also had some trouble watching network TV on the Roku TV. I will definitely stay at a Sonder Hotel again.

Fancy bachelor Pad feel
The building has some cool amenities and is very updated and clean. The apartment was beautiful upon first entry but then… we realized it was empty. The living room had a couch but no chair - which created some weird open space that was fine but felt unfinished. The bedroom was kind of silly actually because there was nowhere to set our luggage… no luggage caddy, no dresser, just floor space. We stayed in a pretty sketchy place in Baltimore the night prior to chucking in at Sonder and even they had luggage caddies AND a dresser/counter top to set our luggage. I won’t set it on the bed because those little wheels have seen some pretty gross things I’m sure rolling through airports and the streets, etc. I included some pictures of what our bedroom looked like - felt like we just moved into our first apartment and hadn’t purchased any furniture yet. Also, we love Roku- have it at our house BUT in “guest mode” we weren’t able to log into some of our apps and we didn’t have the pin to get out of guest mode, so that was frustrating. Also there wasn’t regular TV which was disappointing because hotels usually always have a nice little TV option and with the Roku only it wasn’t quite the same. I would probably stay there again BUT our particular unit needs a dresser or luggage caddy.

We arrived late at first night and next morning our toilet was clogged. Called the U.S. customer service number and got the answer “the problem will be solved in 12 hours.” So we asked for changing room and she said this problem is fixable so room change is not allowed. At least a staff showed up in half hour to fix. He was very nice but off-site customer service was terrible, they need a better way for both internal and external communication. In the end, It’s not a big deal but while I hearing the customer service response, I felt trip was ruined.

Classy condo apartment with self-check-in
This was a lovely apartment in a great building in a great neighborhood. It was very convenient to my business meeting in downtown, and there superb local restaurants open nearby late on a Tuesday night for dinner. The bedding was especially comfortable. Note that Sonder does use online check-in and provides code numbers for access to the building and your room. There was, however, a live person at a front desk every time I passed through the lobby. There is also a nice lobby area and a recreation room available. Based on this property, I would not hesitate to consider a Sonder property in the future.

The property was clean and stocked for self-serve of extra items (like towels). We liked not having to keep track of keys or cards to get into the building and the room. The Club Room was a nice place to hang out and have a cup of coffee. It was handy have a kitchen in the room. The bed was comfortable; the pull-out couch was less so, but still serviceable. There was VERY LOUD noise from the bar down the street and car traffic. (Foam ear plugs were provided). Would stay at a Sonder property again.
