Nice room but.....
Looks like this hotel has been taken over by unexperienced owners or not informed personal. We did not get any information about breakfast times, internet access, reception opening times. A few things were missing in the room, such as a hairdryer, not enough towels, no soap/shower gel dispenser, shoehorn. Small thing that makes a stay better. As stated on the website, daily cleaning, but we did not see any of this, not informed if any. Water boiler was supplied but no cups, drinking glass. Faucet in the bathroom was loose.

4 days in Goteborg
The location of the hotel is very good and quiet. The room was good but main problem was the cleaning. We asked to clean the room several times during our stay without luck, they cleaned it only the last day so a bit useless. Also there were some problems with the entrance door late at night, the code didn't work and the door was locked so we had to call the emergency number or wait for someone to rescue us. I hope they'll solve it soon.

Perfect location at the water front.
We selected this Hotel for our last two days in South Sweden and final aim of our Helsingborg - Götheborg bike trip (Kattegattleiden). We were expecting much less in accordance to rating and price and were positively surprised. The hotel is located directly at the waterfront and the ideal for getting into town as the ferry is just 100 mtrs from the hotel. In the evening one can relax at the water front with a lot of good restaurants and bars. The rooms were spacious and clean with nicely decorated. Good and complete breakfast buffet - the fresh waffles are the hit! The only point for critics is the fact that there is no parking space provided by the hotel. Vehicles have to be parked on a public parking space (at 5 Euro a night/day). The check in was a little sub standard (by a "sleepy" receptionist who hardly talked). As this attitude has not continued with other staff members we still provide a high ranking.

Vi hade bokat rum till 3 personer i god tid innan vår vistelse. När vi ska checka in är där endast en dubbelsäng. rummet är för litet för en extra säng. Den stackarn som skötte reception/frukost/det mesta fick ta våra klagomål. Enligt samtal ska vi bli kompenserade för saknad säng men har inte ens fått något svar när jag mejlar dem. Inget fel på frukost eller städpersonal. Tyvärr väldigt dåligt skött i övrigt. Har bott här tidigare och varit nöjd men nu var det sista gången.

Mindre bra service
För incheckning behövde man ringa i en porttelefon. Personalen dag 1 pratade inte svenska. Kortet till rummet fungerade inte. Skulle lägga kortet på en sensor men det fungerade återigen inte. Efter ytterligare ett telefonsamtal gick det med ett nytt kort efter att ha väntat 45 minuter. Efter en timme kom vi in på rummet. Samma procedur dag 3 men då svensk personal och bara 2 min väntetid. Känns missvisande att ha en reception där det står att om man kommer efter 20 ska man höra av sig och ingen är på plats. Även vid utcheckning. Man har kl 11 som senaste utcheckning men även då ingen i receptionen, och ingen frukost utcheckningsdagen 6/1. Frukostvärdinnan skyllde på sin chef gav fel info.
