"Booked a sea-view room.. got “upgraded” to a family room with no sea-view. So clearly it was overbooked.. we got moved to the apartments which were really nice, some noticeable wear-and-tear but really nice and private. Spa and breakfast were awesome.. all of the staff were incredibly nice. Reception was awesome, even with the mix-up while we were checking in, they were very helpful and quick to find a solution. Massive kudos to all of the staff at this hotel, ya’ll rock!!"

"Lovely view over Girona from the terrace at the front, a 10/15 minute walk from the old town which was fine for us. The hotel feels a bit dated and no tea/coffee facilities in room- you have to pay 2 euros for a coffee from the communal area. But it was clean and functional, and the terrace at the front has a nice small pool and lots of tables- a pleasant place to relax after a day of sightseeing."

The whole place aims at giving its guests the best most relaxed stay possible. The pool and lounges were a welcome respite from the hot weather we had during our stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we are looking forwards to returning next year."

Plenty of local amenities within walking distance, the breakfast was good with plenty of variety with a different ‘wow’ experience each day. The staff were super friendly, polite and helpful and most definitely recommend staying at Ona Palamos."
