"There were too many mosquitos in the room. No ventilation in the bathroom other than the window. When you wanted to air out the bathroom after the weekend and kipped the windows open, it would let the mosquitoes inside since there were no screens on the windows. My spouse got completely bitten up from face to legs, i got bitten up as well, including my eyelid. The bedroom was cleaned daily but it just seemed filthy the entire time. The bathtub was dirty. They forgot to replenish toilet paper. The staff in the lobby didn't even say good morning even when you said it to them. There was no soundproofing. They had a sports team next door to our room that continually slammed the doors, screamed, bang on the doors and walls and leave their dirty socks and equipment in front of our bedroom."

Unfortunately, our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife was rather disappointing.
The hotel feels extremely overcrowded, which significantly impacts the overall experience. There is constant noise throughout the property, making it difficult to relax and truly unwind. Instead of a peaceful holiday atmosphere, the environment feels hectic and busy most of the time.
Breakfast in particular was very chaotic. The dining area was overcrowded, loud, and stressful, which is not how you would like to start your day on vacation. There was a noticeable lack of organization, and the overall experience felt rushed rather than enjoyable.
Overall, the hotel gives a strong impression of mass tourism. The concept seems to focus on offering “a lot for many” rather than prioritizing quality and a relaxed holiday atmosphere. While the facilities may appear impressive at first glance, the overall experience lacks the exclusivity and comfort one would expect at this price level.
In summary, if you are looking for a calm, high-quality, and relaxing vacation experience, this hotel may not be the best choice.
