L'Alcôve Hôtel

It was our very first experience staying in Nice, and only overnight as we stayed the previous days in another location. Hotel staff was friendly, professional, helpful. Room was quite small but we already knew this from the description. It was clean and orderly and served us well. We basically only needed a place to sleep and shower so it was great. The location was amazing--3 minutes to the beach plus a ton of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Front desk was very helpful with information about the area. Rooms are small but adequate. Locstion was good and quiet.

Nice hotel, the issue is the room size. it is entirely misrepresented and it is to small for more than 1 person. The showers are 24 by 24 and a normal person cannot take a normal shower in these rooms. We had two rooms both with showers that we could just barley fit into. I understand space control but this was completely unreasonable. The staff was helpful, IE TV didn't work and had to be repaired. toilet seat came off and had to be re secured every time it was lifted.

The L'Alcove is a very nice, small, newly remodel boutique hotel in a great location. You probably can't do better for the price (great value), but the bathroom shower is really small. The size of the shower is made up by the owner and staff's service. Big props to James at the front-desk, and for the free use of mobile phone. That's right, they give you a free-to-use mobile phone. It's great for local calls, calls to other rooms, USA and CA. A very pleasant surprise! The location is very convenient to all things Nice (Promenade des Anglais, Train Station, nice walk to Shopping Mall: Nice Étoile, etc.)! You can get to the beach and Promenade in 2 minutes, the train station in 10 minutes, the center of Nice in 10 - 15 minutes. Truly a pleasant, and unexpected find.
