The host and staff there are super friendly. They offered warm welcoming and great hospitality. I felt like home when I was staying in Dar Elrio! On the night I arrived, wife of the host, who's a taiwanese girl cooked me noodles. Host is funny and nice, his wife is sweet and warm-hearted! The morning when I had to check-out, I got diarrhoea (this has nothing to do with the hostel), the staff there even gave me his breakfast to take away! I would for sure recommend this hostel to other travellers. You'll see a lot of postcards from travellers who stayed there before which definitely reflect the great service they provide and they deserve 10/10 if i have to rate! Also, they sell locally-made peanuts cookies which taste so good. The cookies are made by their neighborhood. They're selling the cookies to help them with subsistent economy. If you are staying there, remember to buy some cookies for souvenirs as well!
