Ventus at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

All staff was amazing , restaurants great quality and pool activities where great.

Ventus, staff was amazing felt very safe with their new Covid protocols. Hand sanitizer stations were everywhere, all staff had face mask and shields. Food was excellent, property was spotless and service was excellent. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and they delivered strawberries, champagne and decorated our room with rose petals, very detail oriented. Will definitely visit again soon.

Excelente hotel y precio accesible. La comida muy buena en el restaurante Mercado y variedad. Solo en las cenas se repite mucho el menú debido a la contingencia. Todo el personal fue muy amable mucho mejor que en hoteles de más estrellas . La playa no es muy buena tiene muchas rocas pero la mayor parte de puerto Morelos asi es. Muy contentos por las atenciones que nos dieronGerardo Silva ,Eduardo Balam y Willy Lazaro en el Restaurante italiano .Eduardo Rosas en el Restaurante Mercado. También en recepción Gonzalo se portó muy amable y servicial. Y el bell boy Paulo desde q llegamos nos dio un tour para mostrarnos las áreas del hotel. Algo que pudieran mejorar sería el servicio de internet ya q no viene incluido y es caro, aun así nos ofrecieron un buen precio .vale la pena visitar el hotel prácticamente nuevas instalaciones .volvere a hospedarme la siguiente vez en este hotel .

On the way to the resort, the area looks kinda sketchy. But hidden away from the busy tourist and downtown area is this diamond in the rough. This resort is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. Everyone was welcoming, polite and accommodating. Internet is pretty pricey and once a device is connected the wifi cannot be shared to other devices. Food was awesome for lunch and dinner. For lunch especially there was quite a cultural array of options to choose from. Breakfast was kinda regular with the mix of American and Mexican options. The fresh juices offered were delicious! The deserts were pretty tasty as well. I would definitively stay here and would highly recommend anyone to stay here as well.

The resort and staff were excellent. The rooms are very clean and cleaning service spot on. The food is not good at all, in fact my husband and I got really sick from the food and we know it’s from the resort since we only stayed one night since it was closer to the airport than Tulum. My husband and I had a horrible trip back home since we spent most of the time in the bathroom. After eating authentic food in tulum we got food poisoning from this extravagant resort. Lesson learned stick to the cute boutique hotels minus the all inclusive and you should be ok. Plus the misquotes ate us alive, I've never experienced such discomfort and pain from mosquitoes. Won’t be going back For sure. It is nice but if the food sucks and your dinner for the mosquitoes, I will pass.

Overall stay was pretty great, very much empty due to current events but we didn’t mind, stuff was very much on top of things and I was impressed with their safety procedures and protocols. My only complain is that the room walls are very thin and had a hard time sleeping a couple of nights due to the noise level from the family staying next to us. Extremely noisy kids. Didn’t want to complain and maybe I should have done so. Again, don’t let this keep you from staying here, the el Cid resort and Ventus and def. both great locations and resorts.

The activities and events were not that clear. I wish lunch was more available. It seemed unclear for everywhere except the market and that got a little old. The spa was nice but a little pricey and I speak enough Spanish to know they were talking about me and my daughter the entire time, and I didn’t appreciate it. That being said, the fire entertainment I saw was great and I would recommend to others.

Great place. Clean, good food, and good service. Only downside is that it’s 30 mins from the airport.
