Lage zentral, perfekt für einen Städtetrip
einmal etwas laute Musik nebenan/oberhalb, jedoch nur von einem Zimmer aus hörbar
check-in und check-out verliefen reibungslos und sehr schnell
würde sofort wieder dort übernachten!

This is an awesome location in Antwerp and the flat is great!
I only wish we had known there was no elevator prior to booking. We were on floor 4, again, an amazing apartment. However, I am recovering from a knee injury so carrying luggage up 4 flights of stairs was difficult.

Stay at Antwerp during our Trip to F1 Spa
Fabulous location; close to restaurants, shops and bars: parking directly in front of building but for 16 Euros and no more than 3 hours... free from 10pm until 9am, Monday to Saturday and free all day Sunday, not too bad considering you are in the centre of the city and we were there for the F1 race in Spa so we’re never really there during the day. Flat was massive with more room than expected. Had all you need with clean towels and linen at entrance if needed.

Great start and a poor finish.
First things first. The Apartment is beautiful and the location is perfect for getting around Antwerp. The whole space is fantastic and ultra modern. The information received for access and for passports and checking in was very good.
The downside.. The apartment could have done with a bit more of a clean - It looked a little rushed with dusty floors and crisp packets under sofas. The site does have an issue with Mosquitoes weird for this time of year. The problem stems from the outside decking area as when it rains there is insufficient drainage under the decking and it is a breeding ground for them. When we arrived the doors in the master bedroom and bathroom were on vent allowing them into the apartment from the decked area.
My only other issue was the complete lack of customer service in regards to no WiFi or television. The service was not working on the Sunday when we arrived and was told by a worker at the flats it had not been working the day previous. We notified Smart flats ( before 17.00 ) and were informed we would be contacted on the Monday to have it resolved. No phone call. We called Monday morning and were told to notify by e-mail to which we responded it was already meant to be under investigation. We called again in the afternoon and was told it would be Tuesday and we would be contacted to which we explained we would be checking out by 12.00 again promised a phone call to no avail. this is a 4th floor walkup, so make sure you are ready to lug your bags up. The apartment was dirty (dead bugs on floor and smashed on the walls in bedrooms and living room) The patio had cigarette butts everywhere laying around and when we arrived all the windows were open with no screens in place. We closed the windows on arrival, but we still all got dozens of mosquito bites from head to toe. The Shower room emitted a foul rotten egg smell that got bad once we closed the windows to the apartment. The people staying below us blasted music, yelled partying all night and danced so hard it made our apartment shake. I called up Smart Flats and they said they would let the people downstairs know they cant be doing that - to Smartflats credit - it was handled quickly. But it killed our 1st night. The apartment wouldve been nice if properly cleaned and if they either kept the windows closed while no one is staying in the rooms, or if they put in window screens. Smart Flats made it necessary outside of Hotels.com for me to register an account with them and share my Credit Card info to pay a small Belgian Tax (i felt uncomfortable doing this) and then they waited until i was already in Europe to email me and say i needed to email them a photo copy of my Passport to verify my reservation - this isnt a local requirement as it wasnt needed in any other flat we stayed in. Overall it was an experience I do not wish to repeat.

Lovely apartment in a convenient part of the city - walking distance of the old town and close to the theatre district and the main shopping area.
It's on the third floor and the stairs are quite steep, so not for anyone with mobility issues.
Bit of a mosquito problem (we both got bitten a lot!), but comfortable beds, clean and beautifully furnished.

Beautiful on photos, terrible to stay
The problem started with numerous emails and phone calls to receive access code to the flat which cause additional unnecessary tension and discomfort during the trip.This 2 bedroom duplex looks beautiful and fresh but there is no information that is NO elevator, and was NOT indicated at the time of reservation. The stairs to the 4th floor are extremely uncomfortable, narrow with no much space for foot and with high possibility of slippery especially when carrying large suitcase. For four people there were only two towels with a very uninteresting appearance and smell. During those two nights we were bitten by insects (I have over 40 bites), I hope that these bites will heal without a problem. The temperature in the attic bedroom was unbearable, on the day of arrival we found someone left radiators on and to improve conditions, the only thing we found was a wobbly loudly working fan. The WIFI "SF Rubens 401” code with password does not exist.On day of arrival we reported broken tap in the toilet/powder room vanity - problem not solved. As for the complementary coffee offered ONLY on the day of arrive this coffee machine is useless, nobody will spend few ours to search for unusual coffee pack. I would not recommend to anyone so bad experience.
