Apartments SFamilia Barcelona

The apartment looks ok and the check in was smooth. Alvaro was very friendly and helpful. The location is really good, very close to supermarkets, the tube and buses. You can walk to Sagrada Familia and the city centre and the beach are very easy to get to by public transport. The apartment would be decent for a couple, but probably not great for couple with toddlers because the front entrance is very very narrow and there is a flight of steps before getting to the lift so getting in and out with the pram was quite complicated. I had seen it mentioned in another review and thought it wouldn't be a big deal. It's not terrible, but it's certainly not great. With regards the apartment, it's just an airbnb where you have to pay a cleaning fee and no one comes to clean the room or change the bedsheets. In other apartments I've been, they offer a cleaning service at least once for stays over 5 days - for no extra charge. I would say that the cleanliness was ok but could have done a bit better. The kitchen was well equipped and is good that there was cooking oil, salt etc. On the negative side, the walls and floors are paper thin (so you can hear the neighbours), the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the washing machine is quite dated. Overall, I can see it as a decent option for a young couple, but probably not for a family with young kids.

Good location near Sagrada Familia just off the main road. Clean, spacious. Staff are excellent, and went out of their way to help with any concerns.

Clean, comfy apartment/home base

The apartment was just the right size for 2 short adults and 2 my children. We took advantage of the kitchen to cook a few meals and save a few bucks. We loved being close to metro stations, a train station, and bus stops. Even without a car, we got around the entire city and even visited Tarragona and Girona. I would definitely recommend the apartment.

Little quite nice apartment in the centre well connected with metro and shops, very good for few days although I was quite disappointed by a couple of basic details such as broken toilet seat (doesn’ take much to replace it I guess) and not any hand soap or body wash provided. Walls are paper thin so could be noisy if you have “lively” neighbours

Le matelas du canapé d'appoint mériterait d'être changé: impossible de dormir correctement. sinon très agréable logement, a 5mn a pied de la sagrada familia.
