We stayed overnight while in Watkins Glen area to attend the American Lantern Festival at Castel Grisch Winery, which is just a short distance away from this motel. We brought our two dogs along on this trip and were happy to find a clean quiet, dog friendly place to stay. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and there only appeared to be one other couple staying here, as it was the off season, so we nearly had the place to ourselves. Owner was very nice, called to ask us when we planned to arrive. We were checked in by a pleasant employee who said she lived 5 minutes away should we need anything. Office coffee/continental breakfast not available during our stay(office locked), but we had an in room coffee maker, and restaurants are close by. Nice view of lake. Others have mentioned the hot water being difficult to regulate. That was really the only minor issue we had- Water in sink and shower didn't get as warm as we would have liked. Would stay again if traveling in the area.
