Really not a bad little spot.
Not a bad spot. You know what the price range is going to get you so there’s only so much to expect. I’ve stayed here for several weeks working a steel project in town. I’ve had several different room and they all just operate OK. Room 148 needs help. The toilet set doesn’t even stand up on it’s own and for a single man that is frustrating. The shower doesn’t quite shift the water all the way over so the faucet still runs as the shower horas and the drain can’t operate at that level, and there’s a roach that’s been on the floor under the hanging rack for two weeks it could use a sweep. Room 212 is actually quite decent. I think that’s my preference. But I mean it’s little tweaks the place needs that would cost a fortune to fix because the place is old. And there again it’s a bargain barrel motel. I’ll keep coming. The housekeepers I will say do a great job and have done great with any extra requested amenities. They’ve gone down to a single and towel and a single bath towel? What’s up with that? I don’t stay with a guest but there are no mats or rugs so I like to use one as a floor towel to step out on to. I don’t steal things. Could I get the extra towels back? Lol.
