Cool Property with Some Considerations
Loved the kitchiness of the property. Would describe the rooms as dormitory chic, but all in a good way. We had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy and room was clean. We couldn’t change the water temperature in the shower. It was too hot. Maintenance came to fix it but the next morning it was the same problem. We could shower but the water was way hotter than it should be. Noise is a huge problem. The desk chairs are extremely noisy on the non-carpeted floor and neighboring rooms were moving them around at different times of the night. Would put felt pads on the chair legs. Doors slam too loud and people come in at all hours. The balcony feature is misleading because the balcony is just a walkway outside, with some chairs, that leads to all of the rooms. There is self serve coffee in the lounge area, none in the room. But the coffee bar is still a nice touch and there are books available to read. There should be security onsite overnight when there is no one at the front desk. A real plus is the location. Perfect location. Convenient to everything. There is also onsite parking but sometimes it’s full. There is other free parking right behind the lodge. So, to summarize, I would stay again but only if there is some attention to noise and some security detail.
