I recently stayed at ULIV in Mexico City. While the location is excellent — walkable to great restaurants, cafes, and key attractions — the overall experience was disappointing due to poor service and cleanliness.
The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The floors were sticky and clearly not mopped, the shower had stains on the walls, and the towels were old and stained. I had to repeatedly ask for fresh towels and clean sheets, as housekeeping did not refresh them on their own. Housekeeping was consistently careless and ineffective.
Service was equally problematic. Communication with the staff was poor, and they accidentally changed my room access password without notifying me, leaving me locked out for over an hour with no clear explanation or apology. The elevators were extremely slow, adding to daily frustrations. The shower water rarely stayed hot for more than a few minutes, which made mornings even more uncomfortable.
Despite the great location, these service failures made the stay far from enjoyable. I would not recommend ULIV to other travelers.
