Iberostar Punta Cana All inclusive

It was overall a very good experience. Just some small details, the first they they told me I could reserve on 2 restaurants per 3 night stay. Then, next day they told me it was just one. Besides that, they forgot the my son’s birthday when we went for dinner at the reservation we made earlier. Other than that, food was great, lots of amenities, all the staff was very friendly, the installation was clean and in great conditions, wonderful beach 2 minutes from our room. I would definitely go back.

After our initial problem with check in, my group(8 rooms) had a very good time. The buffet choices were plentiful and good eating. Our group that went to the seafood restaurant that was by reservation only was a little disappointing. The food was kinda bland. But the group that went to the Hibachi grill restaurant really enjoyed their food and experience. Please make sure that everyone understands the need to return the towel card when you check out. Rounding up towels or cards at check out at the last minute is difficult. Our troubles with check in started with being told that we were at the wrong Iberostar. We were not. We spent the next hour trying to locate the right Iberostar. And finding out when we returned to the first Iberostar we were at was actually the right one, was maddening. We arrived at approximately 4, our rooms weren’t ready. And we had to hang out in the hot lobby until our rooms were ready. A cooler spot to wait would’ve made us a little less irritable. Our group has expressed a desire to return next year. I hoe that check in will be a little faster. And please make sure your staff knows the address of their resort. I presented the staff member with my confirmation number with the address. He obviously didn’t recognize the address of where he works and sent us on a trip around town to find where we had already been.

Way too many bad things to say about this resort to fot in this space. First. Communication with hotel personnel was horrible. Conflicting information provided about hotel policies. Security guards at the front desk were extremely rude/agressive and disrespectful in the performance of their duties. Dront desk was extremely unresponsive concerning room problem (Air conditioner not functioning properly, bo coffee in room, etc) .. impossible to.talk with manager in charge. Food at restaurant was cold and variety of menu was just OK at best. This is a nice facility that is extremely poorly run. This resort was a big fiasco for my vacation. I would not recommended to anyone. Thanks

One of the best holidays I’ve had. The staff were very accommodating, especially the entertainment staff. Very reasonably priced.
