Great place and location is very close to the train station.

A beautiful building only 3 minutes walk from the train station. Very friendly staff and helpful, I forgot my UK to EU plug adaptor and they found one I could borrow for my stay. The breakfast was excellent, the waiter was very welcoming and quick to get coffee and clear away plates. Selection of fresh fruit, cakes, pancakes, breads, meats and cheeses. The hot food was a selection of boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, sausage and tomatoes, delicious! The hotel itself was beautiful, wide corridors and an excellent dark wooden bar which I had a drink with some friends in one evening, a large selection of drinks. The room was a little smaller than I had hoped but it was very nice, clean and the bathroom excellent. My only criticism would be the fine details, in a few places such as around door handles, the paint was chipped and marked but other than that, can't fault it. Would definitely stay there again!

Grand , old style hotel. The grandeur of the old times. Classy restaurant, huge outdoor terras along the main road. Friendly staff, large room (whe had an executive room). Breakfast was excellent.

Nice hotel very close to train station and town centre. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Perfect if traveling without a car as only a block from train station and still close to main sights in town. Looks like they also had a parking lot if needed. Our room was very spacious and bed was super comfortable. Only complaint is there were some extra fees I was not expecting (service charge for more than one person, city tax). not sure if I just didn't read small print from Expedia or were added by hotel.

This was a beautiful little hotel in a quiet street but just around the corner from the station. The staff were wonderful and friendly and gave me a welcome warm chocolate pastry as a nice touch. The room had everything I needed and I had a very comfortable nights sleep in general. The only issue I had was that the room being a small single was directly facing the top of the stairs on the second floor. There was 4 occasions after going to sleep where groups of people came up the stairs and then stood talking loudly on the landing right outside my door. Also the top of the bed is right up against that wall by the door, so basically they were talking about 3 feet from my head. Enough to wake me up a few times. Luckily it didn't long. Also when waking up there was a clicking noise coming from the ice/freezer part of the bar fridge. It would be useful if there was vertical bar to attach the shower head to so one could adjust it to your height. There were two settings, one for the hand-held shower and one for the ceiling shower, which being so high up that it feels like the hot water gets cold by the time it reaches you. Somehow the shower hot water never seemed to get as hot as the basin. The meals looked very good but I didn't have a chance to eat. There was a large enough sized TV that was wall mounted with a bracket that could be moved out and angled as you wish. The only item missing was a side table, so if you enjoying a drink in bed you have to put it on the floor.

Excellent service, a small room upgrade to a bigger room at check-in helped! The location was very handy - 10 minutes to the centre of the old city, only two minutes to the station. Room immaculately clean.
