Hotel Beatrice

The hotel is supposedly a 3 Start but that’s simply impossible - I assume they got those starts in the early 70ties when the hotel was last updated. It’s very run down, broken doors, cracked sink, my pillow was filled with wool and the bed was hard with madras springs poking through. Breakfast was very although the coffee was good. Look closely at the pictures - They look much better than in real life.

The staff were always available and very helpful.

Very convenient location near the main train station, and easy walking distance from all the primary tourist attractions in Florence. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and facilities were good.

We stayed 2 nights in a quadruple room with 4 twin beds (we had 4 adults travelling together). The room was small for 4 people but it's really fine for us. We walked around the city all day and this hotel was close to all the museums and basilicas. It's just a few minutes walk from the train station, very easy to find. Breakfast was good, just not many choices. Services was excellent.
