Hotel Baruk Teleferico y Mina

The long corridor is too noisy; one can hear people next door going into their rooms etc. The rooms need some updating; wear and tear is showing. We went the bar; poorly stocked was very disappointing with their selection and mixed drink options. Location is excellent and beautiful views from the out door platforms.

The rooms are amazing very spacious and had everything to make your stay more comfortable. Tv and phone in the bathroom, well sized shower and tub, vanity area, double sink, the suite was really really nice and the layout was very nice.

The hotel is very dated and shows its age. While the rooms are decently appointed, the infrastructure is aging and the service leaves much to be desired. We were given rooms without functioning plumbing. One had no water and the other had no hot water. It took 24 hours for them to offer other rooms so that we could shower and the rooms we were given were far inferior to the ones we had booked. The restaurant's food is passable but the service is very spotty. Granted they were on limited Covid staff, but there were also no clients. It is important to note that while the hotel is walking distance from the historic core and right next to the Mine and Gondola, the walk to town is down a very steep set of stairs that is not doable for those who are not fit (at least not on the way up).

Everything was great . Loved the location near down town .

Bueno en ubicacion si quieres ir a la mina y teleferico. Conveniente pero no para quedarte si vas al centro.

Beautiful and quiet area. What I did not like is that we have requested coffee numerous of times and never received the package.

Ac didnt work confusing to use the remotes for the ac and the tv without anyone showing you. I called and asked for blankets and was told that we couldnt get blankets because the hotel was full which was a lie. Was not impressed will never go back.

I never got to check in. The rooms were not cleaned on time, other guests were complaining that their room was not cleaned adequately as well. I went on a tour and came back to check in 5 hours later and they still did not have my 3 rooms ready. The staff kept lying and making excuses of why they weren't
