The air conditioning works well and the bathroom is clean. The bed however is uncomfortable because the mattress still has the plastic wrap on it so it traps heat and also feels strange. There is no duvet, just a single sheet with a fleece cover. The neighborhood wasn't too bad even for it being near the social housing. There was just a lack of restaurants nearby. Just need to walk about 20 min to the LIC center.

Staff was very accommodating, the room was very clean with basic toiletries, bed was comfortable. Some of the amenities downstairs were pretty lack luster but understandable for a small hotel. Only complaint would be the heat, it was incredibly hot in the entire building including our room, but the air conditioner worked well

The Villa is a great rate for an NYC hotel so close to Manhattan. The property is newly renovated with very nice rooms. Very friendly staff. Hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the 21 st/ Queensboro Bridge subway stop. 4 stops to Midtown. Neighborhood is a great mixture of local shops, hotels and housing projects and we always felt safe!

Property is located in a great neighborhood called Long Island city. Great vibe. Great New York style pizzeria 2 blocks away, around the corner has a great Latin food restaurant called mama’s. Close Queens bourough bridge. I walked across into manhattan. I will come back to go to a Mets game
