Friendly staff, hotel needs work
I’ve stayed here in the past and it has been great for the location and money. However, this past trip not so good. I took my 13yr old daughter for her bday. I booked a room with 2 double beds only to arrive and find out they overbooked so they gave me one queen bed. We were there for 4 nights after the first night they did give us another room with the double bed like I had booked only after I asked several times. The. The new room had wallpaper falling off and the TV was not working. Now before you say anything about watching tv in the city remember it was me and my 13yr old for 4 days and the weather got nasty for 2 of the days so yes I wanted to watch for weather etc.. day 3 they fixed it and did give me a 10% credit. The staff was all very friendly and tried to make everything right. This hotel just needs a little tlc.

Worst Hotel Stay of my Life
The mattress was stained with large awful brown spots. And the first night of our stay the room next to us locked their friend out of their room and was seemingly passed out drunk, so their friend was banging on the door with their fists and feet and screaming to let them back in. We called the front desk to complain about the noise and security came up and then also joined the girl in banging on the door and shouting to try to rouse the friend from their sleep to open the door. We confronted the security about the excessive noise (which had been happening for hours now as we phoned the front desk to complain several times before secured came up) and they told us that the girl was locked out of her room. THAT IS NO EX USE TO MAKE SO MUCH NOISE FROM 1-4am!! This was the worst hotel stay of my life.

Beware
I stayed here for four nights for a business trip. I paid a bit more for this hotel compared with others in the area because it advertised a fitness center on the Hotels.com site. When I checked in and asked about it, I was told they don't have one. I called Hotels.com and they called the hotel and it was clarified they have an offsite partnership and it's $25 a day. It wasn't advertised that way, and they didn't tell me that option when I checked in. Hotels.com asked them to provide some compensation, but they refused. It gets worse. The room smelled because the shower curtain had soured. The blinds were ineffective, so it was bright in the room all night and there was nothing to do about it. The street noise was very loud. And, finally, I asked the person at the desk to call a taxi for me to return to the airport. He didn't call a taxi, but instead a private driver and didn't inform me that's what he was calling - needless to say it was much higher priced than a regular taxi. I will definitely never be staying here again.

A little peace and quiet
The place was amazing. Bathroom was great...what a shower....it's not the biggest of rooms but when you're this close to Little Italy and Chinatown, you're not spending that much time inside . While in Little Italy, I'd definitely recommend the CAPRI restaurant. Great food and awesome staff...prices that can't be beat!
