Room was clean but dated. We had a small room which was enough for the two of us. Would’ve been nice to have an extra chair. We we disappointed that the restaurant/ bar was only open til 6:00. Had we known I’d have planned differently.
Room was nice. Upset that the lazy river and slide were not working and that was not described when booking . Bill at the pool bar was awesome however everyone else at the restaurant and bar especially on Sunday morning were horrible . Not only could we not get breakfast because the only place you could order was from inside and the lady was slow, but I was asked 3 times when trying to charge to my room not only my room number but my last name. ( in front of other guests) I thought this was an extreme security risk.
Poor customer experience. Only 2 people working at the front desk at all times, with long lines. Other employees around but everyone says they can’t help and we have to wait in line. The checkin process took 45 minutes. And our room wasn’t even ready! We had to wait around the property with a cooler full of food for another 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Then go wait in line again! We had an 8 step process to get access to our room. Ridiculous. I understand wanting to make things safe and Covid friendly, but this was overkill. And it wasn’t friendly at all. I spoke to 4 different people in person and 3 people on the phone. All unnecessary. What happened to going to the front desk and speaking to one person and that same person gives you keys to your room?! We asked for an upgrade (if we had to pay we were ok with that) and they said they were full the three nights we were there. However, we monitored 4 rooms that were bigger than ours on our same floor that no one ever checked in to while we were there. We asked the front desk several times about being on a wait list for cancellations and each time we spoke to someone different and they had no idea what we were talking about bc the previous person didn’t put any notes in our accounts. The pool and slide have limited hours and close during the day for sanitizing. During the busiest time of the day? Our kids loved the pool area so that’s the only thing that kept us there. No trash cans around. Only one trash in whole room
Bar and restaurant seldom open. Beautiful balcony with lousy furniture. Daytime front desk not helpful. Rooms never made up. Cost of room way to high for service received. Had to go off property for good food and service. Also thought we were going to hotel but it’s a time share so had to fight off sales pitch at check in.
This was the second day of opening follow the shutdown. the floors were horribly dirty, to the point i cleaned some of the areas myself with towels and still ended up wearing shoes. I purchased the breakfast to later find out the restaurant was closed, without resolution to date. From the outside it looks great and location was good, but when others say its a 5 on cleanliness its no joke. They definitely didn't spend the 2 month shutdown cleaning anything. The miniature golf is a joke, beaten down turf with a simply hole crammed in around the lobby.
The manager was very professional and accountable. I checked in the day after COVID reopening and despite only being open for a very short period of time food was excellent! They were probably a little short staffed due to people returning to work. Overall a few hiccups but a great property and experience. Unsure how housekeeping works, maybe this place is a timeshare or something?
We had a wonderful stay, everyone we came in contact with did everything they could to make our stay perfect. Because I have a medical condition, the beds were a little too stiff for my back but we will definitely stay here again and I will bring comforters to go underneath me!
Leak in our room. It was very noisey as people walked by our room. We had no window. Only 1 trash can. No desk.
This is a wonderful property to stay and if you have children, there is so much for them to do! It’s on the beach and close to the port so you can watch the cruise ships! The staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great meals and the Tiki Bar is just off of the pool! Great stay! Thank you
I was happy to see all the renovations going on.. This hotel is geared toward old people & family. Wish i would have known prior to booking.
