Campanile Perpignan Centre

We had a great time at the Campanile. The hotel is just north of the old part of the city, making the old city easy to walk to. The hotel is across the street from a park (unfortunately closed for construction when we visited). So the location is great. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly. They were happy to let me try out my high school French, and saved me with good English when I quickly ran into problems. The rooms looked like they had been recently remodeled. Our room was a bit on the small side, but quite adequate. The one thing that I would change is to remove the soap dispensers from the bathroom and replace them with the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and the bar of soap that it's so fun to get at hotels. And the price was fantastic, although perhaps we visited in the off-season (mid January).

Reception was closed when we arrived at night and had to wait a while until someone showed up. Then the room key wasn't working and again the receptionist wasn't there, so I had to go look for her myself. Apart from that, everything else was good

Easy walk to the town centre

I can definitely recommend this hotel. Recently refurbished and well kept. Very clean. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Food very good.

Good local area opposite a large park. Everything with in walking distance. Staff need to be better trained in customer service.
