Homewood Suites by Hilton Sioux Falls

Two couples shared a suite. The mirrors were dirty, the refrigerator was dirty, dishes were still in dishwasher. All in all disappointed especially for the price paid.

Great, clean hotel!

The front desk people were amazing, and worked hard to deal with the issues that came up during our stay. That being said, we ran into several problems that they had to deal with: the phones didn't work (we were told they were in the process of replacing them -- but they still didn't work, which we wanted in order to call the front desk about problems we encountered); there was no bedding for the hide-a-bed; front staff got sheets and comforter for us when asked; then when I went to make up the bed, the hide-a-bed had a big yellow stain on the mattress pad, clearly from bed wetting; front desk staff responded appropriately and immediately, changed the mattress pad and then made up the bed for us; the mattress on the hide-a-bed was terrible -- I spent much of the night trying to find a decent spot where the springs didn't dig into me (and attempting to avoid the spot where the big yellow stain had been). The parking lot had huge potholes (I mean HUGE) that were impossible to avoid. On a positive note: the kitchenette was well supplied, loved having Neutrogena soaps and shampoos, other than the mattress pad, the place was clean, the breakfast was very good, the staff were really responsive when we ran into problems.

Honestly we live in Sioux Falls and when we want to stay somewhere that will fit our family and give us a comfortable stay this is where we go. The staff is always so friendly it has a nice pool and outdoor area you can sit or walk through. We usually stay in a one bedroom or 2 bedroom and they are great. Breakfast is nice. This last stay we had a small birthday party in our 2 bedroom room. It was great we picked up after ourselves and asked if we would could take it out ourselves as we didn’t feel right to leave all the left over party stuff for house keeping. It’s great that their are dishes and pots and pans in the room and the dishwasher is great. We have also called and asked if we could have had it in the outdoor area and they told us we were welcome too. But we opted to do it in room.

The bedskirt looked like a black lab had been living there and there were almost as many human hairs in the bathroom as on my head...
