Well, I say WOW. Service, room size, location. Right now its my favorite hotel.
Gave us a room with many problems & they cannot fix it right away. Water leaking on the floor & it took many calls just to solved it. Checking in & out was not easy they took really long & was almost charged for parking fees cost that was not ours.
I would not recommend it to anyone. First of all, on a relaxing weekend, who wants to get up early and checkout before 10:00 a.m. I asked about a late checkout and was told that that was not an option. Secondly, the whole focus was to get people signed up for a timeshare. If you were not interested, then you were ignored by the front desk
Fancy place but details for making it family friendly were not there. Kitchen was nice, closet space was good, but main bedroom had double bed (why not a queen at least?) with mediocre mattress. Little thought given to charging areas for electronics. Heater rattled all night. Bathroom was one room with no tub and tiny vanity - families need toilet/shower separate from sink/vanity. We were surprised by the timeshare pitch.
Beautiful hotel. Nice location, close to Union Square convenient for walking. Local area is in transition so there are some rundown properties and some homeless individuals. Oh it's a timeshare-see below. I booked this place because as a mom with kids this would allow me to make some light meals (microwave) and store perishables (milk, yogurts, fruit, etc). Note the room does not a have a stop top or oven. When I reported that I thought the room came with a stove I was rudely reminded of how I DID NOT accurately read the room description quite rudely but then I was offered an electric skillet. As a mom of a toddler with autism that would be a life saver since he is very finicky about his meals. I quickly responded that yes I would be pleased with the skillet. And then it never arrived. I never got a call to come pick it up. That was disappointing. Other than that the room is clean and modern. Every other floor has a complimentary washer/dryer which is great and I liked that. Be prepared for the "gifts" which is actually a high pressure sales tactic to buy into their timeshare. They charge a deposit to hear the sales pitch & have the breakfast. I didn't like that but I figured that must be why the hotel room was a good price. I was willing to listen & pay the price - until they changed the time! It was from 8:30 am to 8 am and you have to check out by 10 am? With kids? Management - if you want people to hear your sales pitch at least offer then a later check out.
