Kensington House Hotel

Older hotel with friendly staff and decent continental breakfast. The bed was comfortable and nice clean bathroom with lovely white soft fluffy towels, good shower with loads of hot water. The room itself was smaller than expected and downside, there was no drawers only shelves inside a small cupboard which was impossible to put anything in as the shelves faced sideways not to the front with a few hangers for hanging clothes above an ironing board with iron on high shelf above. There was coffee,tea and kettle and bottle of water. Wifi reception was a problem as kept buffering when trying to watch a tennis match. Excellent location for Royal Albert Hall about 7-10 minute walk.

Decent stay. Excellent location, near Hyde park and high street Kensington. Bit of a walk but to the closest tube station. Service was good and the hotel staff were quite friendly and flexible. Only thing that wasn’t as per expectation was the size of the room - it was too small. And given there was no AC, the fan could have been faster. Overall good stay.

Hotel was ok, rooms very basic, no kettle or coffee making facilities as mentioned online. No bar but great location. Staff very friendly.
