Just an overnight stay before a flight from Frankfurt the next morning. Nice small boutique style hotel. My room was on the 6th floor, elevator goes 5 floors up, then it's stairs. You get rewarded with a delightful view over Busytown - Germany style if your room is to the front. A Christmas market downstairs (December), buses, tram, train, in distance freeway, many roads criss-crossing. if you are interested to study the difference of a US town to a German one for a night, this is the place for you. You do have a bit of a noise level though. While you cannot hear the trains, vendors are slamming doors, the place stays somewhat busy all night, even in December, but on the sixth floor, things are not too bad, but some background noise is certainly there. If you need it more quiet, a room to the inside will lack the view, but might be better for you. Rooms are very nice and clean, and breakfast is decent in selection and quite elegant. The location is very central and convenient for public transport or walking to anywhere in downtown. I would book the room again on another trip, but try to go for 5th floor instead. The reception was a bit overloaded or short-staffed in the morning though, so that would be a good thing to change.
