Homewood Suites by Hilton Vancouver-Portland

This hotel is just what we needed after a few very stressful difficult days. The suite fitted all 3 adults and 3 children very comfortably and had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Check the bathroom and crevices around the bed. There was a lot of dirt and dust on the floor and around the bed. My room wasn’t vacuumed thoroughly and there were fecal stains on the outside of the toilet. Unfortunately, it was a long day so my family and I wanted to rest. Luckily, I brought clorox wipes, so I wiped down the parts that needed cleaning. Housekeeping was gone for the day, so we didn’t bother calling front desk for them to clean the bathroom. Sofa in room 204 needs to be updated. Overall, we were able to sleep fine. If you update the sofa, vacuum the floors and corners thoroughly (including areas where you think most wouldn’t usually look) and also clean the toilet both inside and outside, then I would give this place a high rating. There is a nice restaurant right next door and the beach is walking distance.

I stay here frequently as one of our offices is across the street. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the rooms are quite large, the bathrooms are updated and it looked like they were doing some updating to many rooms and public spaces. I would definitely recommend Homewood Suites to anyone looking for a hotel in the Vancouver, WA area.
