Very nice concierge service with support for any needs. The hotel is very central and good located.
The beds are very comfortable. Extra pay for the good coffee at the breakfast and the finishing of the breakfast service almost before time is rather negative.

Room was freezing inspite of ac being on 27c . Iron put some sort of red dye on to my shirt .
Used to be the best hotel in Brisbane and I’ve stayed there many many times . I’m even fond of the place . That said it really is on its last legs sadly I won’t be back . Much better options now available in Brisbane

Two stars too many
Check in was excellent. Staff lovely. Unfortunately the room cleaners were not up to the standard expected. Missing items, for example, bathroom lacking products, beds not made to a good standard either. My 10yr old makes a better bed.
Unfortunately I will not be returning or recommending this place.

Was out 10 year anniversary stayed 2 nights the Service and attention to detail to the guests was not there. No upgrade drink or anything. We have stayed here a lot over the past 15 years and will not be heading back

Worst check in experience so far.
Worst check in experience so far in any hotel in Australia. Understaffed, undertrained, overwhelmed, poor communication between front of house and housekeeping. Demoralised staff, indifferent, apathetic, shell shocked, couldn't give a flying with a slack jawed semi smile. Staff look like they've gone 15 rounds with a bad GM, the hotel has fallen so far in the past 6 months. This is a hotel run by a team that has lost control of staff and workflow.
On Check In I was asked to wait 2 minutes (15min) for my room to be cleaned (aircrew must have just vacated it). Fine, waited, smiled, normal, got my key and went to the room. Was stopped by housekeeping as the room hadn't been started. Housekeeping found me another room on another floor, so I went down to reception to pick up new keys, only to be asked to wait another 2 min (25min reality). Problems happen at hotels, I know it, 80-90 hotel nights a year, but it was the apathetic attitude that inspired me to say something in a review.
Had the taste of Singapore, a Laksa and curry puffs. The laksa was OK, what I would expect from an airport/shopping mall take away. The curry puffs had no curry and were full of egg, very weird. For a Singaporean Hotel chain with the name of Sir Stamford Raffles, founder of modern day Singapore, this was a very average representation of Singaporean cuisine. The staff know it, and couldn't care less.
Sad. Needs a management rescue.

Not a lot to stay....100% met expectations and more. Would stay again and recommend to others.
Location awesome. Easy to walk to every where (if that is your thing). Thumbs up Stamford!
