The Mosser

Hotel ist gut gelegen und sehr einfach von beiden Flughäfen zu erreichen. Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht (auch Fön und Bügeleisen). Zimmer sehr klein. Aber ausreichend um zu schlafen oder zu arbeiten. Schnelles und kostenloses WLAN verfügbar. Auch gibt es in der Früh Kaffee und einen kleinen süßen Snack. Kein richtiges Frühstück aber besser als nix. Würde wieder dort buchen. Preis/Leistung absolut angemessen.

To me, the Mosser was an excellent place to stay for my time in SFO. Especially at the price it is normally available on most booking websites, the hotel offers excellent value for money in the downtown / Union Square area. I particularly appreciated the kind and forthcoming service and very much enjoyed the well-equipped room (esp. the firm mattress). Of course, the age of the building takes its toll (rooms generally are smaller than industry average, water pressure on the higher floors a bit limited, etc.), but as a place to sleep and rest, this was the perfect place to be! When I return to SFO, I will book again without hesitation. Thank you!

Mittelmäßiges Hotel zu einem teuren Preis

Great location - close to everything, transportation, and stores and restaurants. Very courteous staff but... poorly lit room, paper thin walls, noise and talking can be heard all night long, no curtains & street light comes through the shades at night, very minimal water in shower - like bathing with a garden hose, no beverage machines - to get water you must go outside and buy, but no refrigerator in room to keep beverages cold, super tiny sink with no counter space to put your toiletries on - not even room for a toothbrush, sink and mirror so close together i constantly hit my head, no AC or heat so room gets too hot or too cold. Not a comfortable stay. However, there is wine in the lobby on Fridays, coffee & tea in the morning, and they provide bathrobes, which is nice. All in all, not worth $100 per night.
