Wanted to pay cash upon arrive tgey already charged before 330 pm. Charged me a $55 fore leaving early before storm ida arrive they said because hotel com charges a fee very upsetting it was a storm hurriance moving in. Rust in tub show curtains mildrewed. Sad condition.

I reserved 3 rooms for a birthday getaway for my twin aunts 69th birthday! 2 of the rooms were clean but 1 wasn’t! So they immediately switched the room.. Upon checking in another guest complained about the elevator making noise and moving slow. The guy said he wasn’t the manager but the front desk lady said he was. The next day the elevator was broken. Requested room service only to find out they didn’t empty the garbage, make the beds nor replace the towels that were on the floor. Just removed dirty towels and sprayed air freshener. Awoke in the middle of the night and saw a roach on the wall.. The next day was check out and I was on the 3rd floor with my 1 and 6 year old with no elevator.. I had to take the stairs to bring down stroller and bags with 2 small children in 2 trips!! Very frustrating!! Then when I asked for a manager the front desk lady said he wasn’t in but would have him call me! Still haven’t heard from anyone! The roof needs to be replaced and the driveway is terrible! I read the reviews but thought it couldn’t be that bad but it was actually worst!!

The pool was closed after being there one day due to construction. Reason i book because of indoor pool. The constant request for towels and the lack of them having very Aggravating. Had to bath with a big towel no small. Had to ask for trash bags. Breakfast time too short most places 6-9. Air conditioning went out during night had to turn off sleep uncomfortable and turn back on in morning.

Room had a bad smell. Bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly because previous tenants body wash was still on the shower. Carpet was dirty. Not at all what I expect from this hotel chain.

Arrived about an hour before check in and when I asked if a room might be ready the front desk guy was very rude. When I returned a hour later at checkin I was asked for a credit card to cover accidentally. The next day I noticed a $40 charge pending in my bank statement. When I spoke to front desk clerk that night she was very nice in explaining that was to cover items we might purchase. No problem it would have been nice to know about this charge/hold at checkin. Thursday night when I arrived back to the hotel the entire 2nd floor had a strong marijuana smells. When I headed out Friday their was someone smoking marijuana at the back entrance. Our room faced the IHOP next door and because there was no proper curtains to close the bright lights shine in the window all night making it impossible to sleep. This hotel gives the Fairfield name a bad reputation I would never stay here again or recommend it.

Wow! That’s the only thing I can think to say about just how bad my experience with this hotel was. My wife and I were traveling to southern MS to attend my mother’s funeral nearby. We booked a single king room at this hotel, because it was close to the airport, and I had always associated the Fairfield name with nice quality hotels. I will not make that mistake again. We came in late, but I had called the hotel to verify my late check in and was told everything was fine with that. When we arrived, and got to our room, there were 2 double beds instead of a king. Being late and knowing we had a lot to do the next day in preparation for the funeral, we didn’t say anything about the mistake. We started to plug in our cell phones charge them overnight and found that almost all the electrical outlets in the room were so worn, that nothing would stay plugged into them without bending the prongs on our charger. Again, we made the best of it, and found the 2 in the room that would actually work. There were no towels in the room, so went to ask for some, and also mentioned that we got a different room than what was reserved. They said they would fix, so take our things with us. During the funeral they called but didn't leave a message. Was having dinner with my family afterwards when they called me back to let me know that they should not have let me make the reservation and they no longer had a room for us. No apologies, and no offer to help us find other accommodations.
