While the lobby is in good shape. The rooms are not. The bed was uncomfortable as was the couch. I expressed the concerns to the front desk to the point where I said we wanted to leave and make other arrangements after staying one night. The front desk person was extremely rude and after consulting with someone in the back office told me that because I went through a third party (Hotels.com) I would have to take it up with them. I did chat with someone from Hotels.com and was told they tried to reach folks at the hotel to see if they could work things out. I never did hear from anyone at Hotels.com again. Most disturbing, on our final day, on top of everything else, someone died at the hotel. The local coroner along with several police cars were outside the hotel. We finally just decided to leave early as we couldn't stay there another night. Extremely disappointing experience all around. I would like someone at the Hotels.com to reach out to me.
