We stayed for two nights to attend a local race. The front desk clerk, who was very nice, changed our room to a 2nd floor corner room, which he said was one of the finest he had. The room was huge, but sparsely furnished. There was also no maid service after our first night, which was really no big deal, but it would have been nice to have a small cafe table and a couple chairs. However, the traffic noise could be heard all night long, even in our room which was perhaps the farthest from the road. But, the price was reasonable and there was a decent local restaurant/steakhouse next door. We would probably stay there again.

Overall the room was clean enough, but there was a strange odor we weren't able to destroy. The person who checked us in was behind a glass and although we were there at about 4pm, the lobby was locked and the man behind the glass wouldn't speak to us much and would only do business through the window with us outside. It was just odd, but good enough to one night.

THE FRONT DESK CLERK IS VERY FLIRTATIOUS AND MAKES YOU FEEL AS IF HE'S DOING YOU FAVOR WHEN YOUR ACTUALLY PAYING FULL PRICE FOR YOUR STAY... VERY INAPPROPRIATE AND MAKES YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND THREATENED THAT YOU MAYBE EVICTED FROM THE PROPERTY IF YOU ARE NOT SHOWING HIM FLIRTATIOUS MANNERS BACK!!! THEY ALSO HAVE NO RESPECT AND ARE VERY INTRUSIVE

Never again!

We got there late due to morning car troubles, called Key West Inn that morning to let him know, no one picked up the phone, once we got closer we called and told him we would be about and one and a half away, unfortunately we hot pulled over in Phenix County Alabama, so we got to hotel later then we had told him, and boy did he let me know that 😡 then we had 1 room reserved, previously had reserved 2 but canceled, then rebooked the 1 room. And he was not very pleasant about the confusion he started at the window. We have stayed there before with an ok experience then..but WE DEFINITELY WILL NEVER BE BACK, WOULD LOVE TO GET A REFUND, very disappointing and the ROOM #119 was very very dirty, we had to ask for spider spray and he didn't even ask why, just gave it to us. I have loads of pictures, the used rolls of toilet paper had previously been hit with shower water, prior to us in the room. Holes in the blankets, refrigerator never got even cool, we lost food due to that, had to buy us new toilet paper, the head board was terrifying we laid towels on it before we used our pillows. And on top of that, he put us in a handicap room, neither one of us are disabled, we felt horrible in that room.

visible dead bugs laying around inside the room, there is a very musty smell, you can feel sand on the floor when walking around and feet get dirty. The pillow cases and sheets had stains on them thats hopefully over use and bad detergent? The day we got here there was no hot water in our rooms, i called multiple times and this was never fixed, i was told oh manager is probably sleeping but I'll try to call. The room was cheap compared to other places but WAY TOO MUCH for these issues and dirtiness.

This is the exact msg I sent the hotel… with no response days later!! Do not stay here! After checking in, and being presented a room not fit to be used due to an overwhelming stench of weed and cigarette smoke, THEN after being shown another room, l had a moment with my partner to discuss. When I came and saw you about taking that room, your remarks about my partner being difficult, then retracting them when I questioned you wasn't ideal... to run further salt in the wound, I properly assessed the substitute room, and was disgusted also by a slight lingering smell, that was trying. To be covered up with an air freshener in the air con unit, then noticing multiple spiders, linen that was stained and unhygienic with hairs and other objects in it.. I had no choice bout to leave the room key on the bed and leave. I will not be staying and cannot wait for your reply to this inconvenience tonight. Thank you Tim

The room was dirty. Non smoking room smell like stale cigarettes. Cigarette holes in comforter. Floor had dirt on it as soon as we walked in. People arguing in next room and people stomping in room above. Just bad experience all together.

The room was excellent for a good price. However, be aware that despite the listing saying that they offer a breakfast, they do not. Still would recommend, but don't expect breakfast.

The stairs to the second floor, which were enclosed by block walls, were very dirty, covered with dead bugs on the grounds and in cobwebs on the walls. The room was okay, except for the hair/dirt along the outside of the tub. My biggest complaint was that the motel's ads state Free Breakfast, and there was none. We chose this hotel in part for the breakfast, as we wanted to get started on the road home in the morning and didn't want to have to stop to buy breakfast. This needs to be taken off their ads! Also, the cost was high since there was no breakfast included.

The only thing I didn’t like about this place is that my checkin time was like 4pm. I arrived about 4:20. I had to wait for my room because they have not made the beds yet.It’s a tiny town and the motel had at the most 5 cars there the whole time I stayed. I feel like the room should have been ready for me. Other than this the staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was cute. They may have had a reason for the bed issue. I do recommend this hotel.
