Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 1. Feb. 2013Schönes neues Hotel mit schönen Zimmern, gutem Frühstück und hervorragendem Essen an der Bar. Eigentlich habe ich nichts auszusetzen, außer die Lage. Man braucht relativ lange um zum Zentrum zu gelangen und da ist der Zusatz "Midtown" einfach verwirrend.

"Gute Verkehrsanbindung"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 19. Jul. 2012Ich war dort ganze 2 Wochen und ich war zufrieden. Das Gebäude ect. ist alt aber sauber. Das Pesonal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool war bei der sommerlichen Hitze sehr angenehm. Das zimmer hält allerei annehmlichkeiten bereit, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffemaschine (+ tägliches auffüllen des Kaffevorrates & Becher!) Föhn jede Menge Handtücher....... Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, außer das es morgens nach frischen Waffeln gerochen hat ;o)ich habe auf dem Zimmer gefrühstückt! Die gute Verkehrsanbindung benötigt natürlich die Nähe zum Highway ;o) Ich fand es trotzdem nicht laut! Meist verbringt man ja den Tag irgendwo "draußen" und kommt nur zum schlafen ins Hotel! Ach übrigens; meine Klamotten konnte ich auch waschen und trocknen ;O) Die direkte Gegend um das Hotel ist nicht sehr einladend. Man braucht, wie sowieso in USA üblich, ein Auto, um die schönen Mall`s und Einkaufsläden zu erreichen! Zur Not kann man in ca 8-10 Minuten zu einem Walmart laufen. Ist aber ein Weg direkt am Highway und an Straßen, an denen NIEMAND zu Fuß unterwegs ist!! :-( Also bei einem Aufenthalt unbedingt vorher ein Auto mieten!!

Meine Kollegen hatten für den Zeitraum andere Hotels in der näheren Umgebung und waren weniger zufrieden als ich. Zum Convention Center läuft man nur 10 Minuten.

It was more than I expected. This is a new hotel a block away from the Austin Convention center, literally surrounded by great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was gorgeous, although the glass bathroom door (beautifully frosted) wasn't much of a sound barrier to what was happening in the bathroom :) We had a good laugh. "Overpriced and Blah Ammenities"
Service - nonexistent...paid to valet park, got to carry our own bags. Breakfast was lousy. Thermostat in room did not work, beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Food selection was lousy! Best thing about this hotel is leaving it to go somewhere else nearby.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Loved staying at the Hyatt Place since I could walk less than a block to the convention center and then safely walk to some fun places like the Elephant Room and restaurants and shopping. This hotel is fairly new and in pristine condition. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Continental breakfast had many options. The workout facility had plenty of modern equipment (free weights, 3 treadmills, bikes and one weight machine) and free headphones, water & towels. We walked everywhere except to SoCo, took a short cab ride. Even […] printed our boarding passes in the lobby. Only complaint we had was that we were on the 6th floor and could hear sirens and street noise. Wish we would have gone with a higher floor but we didn't complain to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast had varied choices. The location was within walking (or staggering) distance from street fair and nightlife scene. Extremely comfortable bed and large TV. Free wi-fi a definite plus. TV controller did not work well. In house parking was convenient upon arrival but inconvenient when garage became full, somewhat overpriced […] for inadequacies. "Outstanding time"
Loved the hotel. Right downtown. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. The customer service was 4 seasons-esque. Will definitely be back. Only possible negative comment is that we did not have shampoo when we first arrived. Everything else was top notch.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Great Downtown Destination"
It was great to stay so close to the Action of Austin. This hotel is a bit far from the 6th Street activities, but there are great restaurants right next door and it is close to the park and trails.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Overall, very pleased with the hotel stay, Price, service and location are great.The AC vent over the bed is unfortunate as it blasts cold air right on you while you are sleeping and the staff isn't super familiar with the area yet - but they were extremely welcoming.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

I enjoyed the stay. Very easy and very, almost too friendly staff! I loved the location too. I was able to walk to all the yelp/tripadvisor recommended locations. Also, very close to bus stops, making commuting around Austin a Breeze, even for a first time visitor like myself. I will be back!Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

The hotel was nice but not the best Hyatt Place we have stayed at. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nice but the beds where not comfortable. Also, the eggs for the breakfast tasted like they were fake. Otherwise, everything was nice.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Friendly, no frills comfort in good location"
The hotel is new and clean, and our room was spacious. It has comfortable beds and nice flat screen TV. The people behind the front desk are very friendly and helpful. We never tried the complimentary breakfast, which is served in the lobby. There's a bar and a Starbucks-type coffee and pastry counter. The location is very convenient for the Convention […] Center. You can't be much closer. There's a good, low-key crepe cafe around the corner for breakfast or lunch. It's close to Congress street and the bridge over Congress which crosses the lake. A short walk to 6th Street activity. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Only inconvenience is that there's a lot of construction going on nearby with many of the sidewalks closed. I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were so friendly and the hotel was beautiful. It was perfectly located for the track meet that I attended. The children that were with me were so impressed and amazed by how helpful and nice everyone was. They were also impressed with the breakfast. The hotel staff was attentive. The rooms were nicer than expected. The complimentary breakfast was also nicer than expected. The only issue were no safe in the room & also, the elevator wasn't working perfectly.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
