For whatever reason, there seem to be a lot of negative reviews about this hotel. We decided to stay there because it was close to the PATH train and... was offered at an affordable price. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! First of all is the location. For travelers that have ever had to stay in Newark, one is probably very familiar with how confusing the roads are to get to various hotels around Newark Airport. This hotel is right in the middle of Downtown Newark, and is a breeze to get to. There is also a health food store that offers fresh juices next door to the hotel. The PATH train to the World Trade Center is a short walk of about 10 minutes. As for the actual room itself, the beds were very comfortable and well appointed. Both my wife and I sleeped well during our stay. Even though our room faced the street, the noise from the road was barely noticeable. The staff was friendly and accomdating. The only thing that could be improved is the parking. The garage is not directly connected to the hotel, so the process of loading and unloading of luggage is not as smooth as it should be. von Jordan G aus Austin TX am 08.05.2013
