Feb. 2013Hotel befand sich zum Zeitpunkt zwischen 2Baustellen(1direkt im Gebäude daneben, 1Anfang der Rue de l'arbre sec),dazu der Mini-Empfang=Schock.Wir waren am Wochenende da=keine Lärmbelästigung.Wir sind Mo.früh abgereist, im Haus neben sehr laut.Wir kamen um 10h an,Check-In ist um14h.Das Gepäck habe ich nicht hinterlassen,es wäre von außen sichtbar gewesen,das ist bei monogrammiertem Gepäck nicht wünschenswert.Das Zimmer konnten wir um 11:30Uhr beziehen,wir waren in Chambre Pont-Neuf( 5.Et.)Zimmer war sauber+für frz.Verhältnisse groß,genauso wie das Bad(bodentiefe Dusche+Doppelwaschbecken).Es gab,wie erbeten,2getrennte Betten.Sauberkeit:Bettwäsche+Handtücherl(auch beim demonstrativen Stapel auf dem Boden)wurden nicht täglich gewechselt.1neuer Anstrich+neuer Teppich würde nicht schaden.Servicequalität,keine 4*: Hoteldirektor haben wir am Anreisetag gesehen,das war‘s.Frühstück jd Morgen anders ist,obwohl wir immer das Gleiche bestellten.Sehr ärgerlich war,dass ein bestellter grüner Tee mehr als30Minuten dauerte.Angeblich gab es keinen grünen Tee im Haus(!).Dies kann ich in 1“4*Haus“nicht nachvollziehen.Wieso kein Tee von Kusmi, Frères Mariages o.Angelina,anstatt Lipton?Keine Kommunikation mit dem Gast.Ich bin Französin,die Sprache war nicht Verständigkeitsproblems.Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorzuheben,nah an 2Metrostrationen(M1+M7)sowie der Rue de Rivoli.Fazit:kein 4*Niveau,die Kombi kl.Hotel+die Lage ist gut bis sehr gut,wenn man dafür Abstriche beim Service akzeptieren will.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Paris. We had booked and paid for the Studio which was slightly more expensive than our intended budget, but based on the hotel reviews we believed it would be worth paying a bit extra. We arrived earlier than the standard check in time but we only had to wait 10 minutes for a room […] to be ready. To our great delight we were upgraded to a 1 bed apartment even though we had only paid the studio rate. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful in giving directions to all the local sites. Most of the main attractions are within walking distance such as the Louvre and Sacre Coeur. Two metro stations are also very close by. Should I go back to Paris again I will definitely stay here. The suite was amazingly efficient in a relatively small space: Living rm. w/kitchenette had a sofa bed, separate bedroom and rather large bathroom w/walk-in shower. All very nice and new. Charming, recently refurbished boutique apart-hotel in central Paris near to Opera / Galleries La Fayette and a 1 minute walk from Cadet Metro. The room we had was compact but well appointed with a separate bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. All the fixtures and fittings were of the highest standard and the furniture was well kept. "The perfect Paris apartment for two"
Residence Nell was exactly as advertised. We had a lovely newly renovated suite on the sixth floor with a view of the city. The staff were helpful and friendly and with the exception of a window in the bath room that was tough to shut the experience was pretty perfect. It was located within a short walk of several michelin star restaurants, an exceptional […] chocolatier and the metro. I really have no complaints. "Most enjoyable Paris hotel"
We had a small apartment with a separate bedroom which was very well designed to make the most of the space. Location was in a busy working class neighborhood so there were lots of shops and restaurants but the hotel was very well insulated for quiet. "Central, Charming, and Well Desinged"
We were privileged to be among the first guests to visit this charming and modern hotel near the center of Paris. With only 3 rooms per floor, the hotel itself is small which allows the very friendly staff to give each guest more attention. Our room was clean modern and extremely well designed and came equipped with a marvelously compact and adequetely […] equipped kitchen and a comfortable pull-out couch. The elevator broke down while we were there, temporarily requiring a hike upstairs, but it was quickly placed back in service. Rue Richer where the hotel is located is a very busy and space starved area of Paris so that it is sometimes difficult to stop a car in front of the hotel to unload if you arrive by car. A particularly nice touch that we appreciated as a travelling family is that the hotel provided us with a special kids' soap and bath toys. On our trip through 4 cities, we found that other hotels in France tend to tolerate but not necessarily welcome younger guests. Good for the Residence Nell. Close to several metro-stations, and also just a 10 minute walk to train stations Gare du nord (connected to airport CDG) and Opera (connected to Disneyland). Detta är ett väldigt bra hotell. Litet och intimt, stora rum och fantastiskt bekväma sängar. Vi hade en standard studio till ett riktigt bra pris och två rum med stort badrum, litet pentry och två TV-apparater med mängder av kanaler. Läget är också bra, nära Metron på Grands Boulevards. Cómodo, limpio, bien montado, con lo necesario para una estancia en pareja, en familia, o de trabajo. Cuenta con habitación separada de una pequeña sala, con mesa de antecomedor, cocineta y sus implementos básicos (frigo, horno, cafetera, estufa eléctrica, vajilla y cubiertos, de muy buna marca y calidad) interrnet y café de cortesía, y un pequeño escritorio […] de trabajo, caja de seguridad empotrada de buen tamaño. El baño pequeño pero con lo suficiente (amenidades, buenas toallas, secadora de pelo). El personal es sumamente amable y nos ayudaron con recomendaciones de lugares e instrucciones para llegar a ellos en metro, RER o tren. Se encuentra bien ubicado, a una cuadra de una estación del metro con una linea y a tres de otra con dos lineas, a cuatro cuadras de la Ópera Garnier y de Galerías Lafayette.
