I found the Zam Zam reception staff to be extremely rude, arrogant, racist and discrminating towards customer. I have signed up for a king size room and I got a twin size bed. The wake call never happend. TV remote was broken. The manager was very nice and accomodated us later on. Hotel is right on the Haram in Mecca. MY STAY WAS NOT SO COMFORTABLE DUE TO THE LACK OF ELEVATORS , THEY ARE NOT ENOUGH FOR THE HOTEL GUESTS. HOUSEKEEPING VERY BUSY AND THEY MAY NOT SHOW OFF TO DO THEIR JOB TILL LATE NIGHT

Best hotel to stay close to Haram - Bab-e-Abudul Aziz.

I don't recommend this hotel and it shouldn't be classified as 5 star hotel. I give it 3 or less. First the room bathroom didn't have a shower, but just a pipe and I had to call their service a couple of time on-order to fix it. Also when they cleaned the room they forget to put towels and I had to call them again. At checkout time I was charged for […] room service while I didn't order it and when I complaint they started calling many people about the charge. When I didn't see any progress I complaint again that I have a flight to catch and the check-out person told me that it was my mistake that I should have contacted them earlier about my bell instead of waiting at checkout time. This hotel should not be ranked even for 3 star ,the reception desk include many peoples and none of them is professional or knows what costumer service is,I have booked rooms with connecting door because I have little kids in my family and confirmed the same information with hotel through email and received their reply with confirmation however when […] we got there they offered us a room for myself and wife in level 17 and the room for kids in level 27 and when I show them their email confirmation they started forwarding me form one to another .i even asked them to store my luggage until I catch ASR prayer and then I can come back to discuss the room issue but they claimed that they do not have any storage room in the hotel and have left me and my family waiting until they go for prayer while we have missed the prayer in congregation. The rooms we took were very dirty and bathroom smell very bad all the time seems a plumping issue. There was no cups, glasses, or kittle, no kind of beverage or even water, towels in a bad old conditions and full of yellow and black stains, nothing in the mini bar or fridge.. Even I was the only one checking out at 9 am I had to wait 15 minutes because the person in charge of checking out is busy on the phone where another 2 persons were available and free but they said they are for checking inn only and can’t help me and had to wait (checking out was only collecting the room keys and did not offer my any receipt Mehr

Mecca is amazing. this hotel i wish i could say the same. the worst experience i have had. i stayed for 16 days prepaid. the first two nights they put me into a smoking room and i had specifically asked for a non-smoking room, i have really bad asthma. The third night they changed my room to a small room with a pungent odor. after speaking to multiple […] workers and managers nothing was changed. no one spoke english and the arabic speaking workers would basically yell at me and tell me I'm not gonna get anything. i finally realized my room wasn't gonna get changed which was fine i just spent more time at the kaaba. after medina i came back to the hotel and they once again rudely placed me into a non kaaba view room which was now facing a construction site. construction begins bright and early and lasts all day. Excellect location in terms of proximity to the Haram.however the property lacks maintenance & service culture, and as such will not be able to live up to five stsr standard if continued same way. Will sum-up into Pros and Cons of the hotel:- Pros 1. Good Location near ALHARAM and can walk straight to King Fadh Gate 1 2. Quite Wide Spread of Breakfast 3. Lots of Shops in the building such as Starbucks, Mac, Nine West, Aldo etc Cons 1. Took too long to check-in, front office personnel busy talking to each other 2. Booked room facing ALHARAM […] (at higher rate) but the same not visible from the room 3. Housekeeping was slow to respond, took them 1/2 day before your request be attended to 4. zamzam has an excellant location near haram, yet access by car or taxi was cumbersum.overall and due to proximity to haram and I have to say freindly staff , I may consider returning to it.no drinkable water in the room and no complimentary water was available .fidge was out if order and very old , room finshing was 3 star atmost yet I had one problem […] that despite email confirmation of booking and a phone call 2 days before arrival to the hotel, there was a problem of payemnet coverage since the confirmation no. I received was different from the one that the hotel had cuz my booking was thru a sister site to yours .It did cost me 10 min international call and 45 min of nerves but it was finally resolved Mehr

While having bath, water does not drain. We have bath to clean ourself not to make dirty and water stands all over the bathroom and its wet all the time. When calling any of help lines, most of the time no answer and if there is any answer after long time. We did not find any star services there. Sorry for all saying this.

-nice hotel but i think it should be rated as 4star not 5 -difficult access to the hotel in the rush hours

Great location, walking distance to Kaaba. Service is poor. Food is ok. Quality of room good.
