Estero Beach Hotel & Resort - Ensenada

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from downtown Ensenada, it is on a big property with villas and rooms. It's old and somewhat upkept. We ended up with one full size bed. We are used to a king size. It was really quiet so we did sleep and it had it's own parking space.

The room was extremely cold and there was very little water for showering.

Had a very nice stay, can see sunset from the room's balcony. the hotel's museum is worth to see. Go to blowhole and wine cellar (about 30 min drive from hotel, they are locate on different location) if have time.

Even though this was a leisure trip, we expected to be in contact through e-mail/or facebook with friends and family. However, we constantly got disconnected or were unable to connect to the internet. We were awaken by service people every mornig (we spent 4 nights there) before 9:00 a.m. This was a little annoying since we were there to rest. The day […] before our check-out date, we received a notification that we needed to vacate the room before noon that day. We had to go to reception to clarify that matter. Mehr

Rooms were ok the view of the ocean was great biggest problem no water pressure. That killed it for us if that gets fixed I would stay again.

This is not the first time I have stayed here but it is the first time I used Hotels.com. We got an awesome deal and I would recommend both the hotel and hotels.com for anyone. I called for a massage and a pedicure and my only disappointment was the pedicure person was ill and there was no one else to give me this service. The massage and facial I received […] were excellent. The pool was a little cold so I did not get in but did enjoy sitting by the pool and enjoying the view. While there was no one out to give me a towel, I called housekeeping and received one in less than 2 minutes. Overall, the food was great as was the service and room. Mehr

Estero Beach is hidden away from downtown Ensenada. it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a weekend getaway. You would never expect to find a place like Estero Beach driving through unpaved roads and poor looking neighborhoods. Once there, you are welcomed by friendly and courteous staff. The Mayan rooms are pretty spaceous with a beautiful beach […] front view, private patio and garden. The pool is large with two jacuzzis surrounded by palm trees and overlooking the beach. We've enjoyed coming here for many years and we will continue to visit this oasis. Mehr

We loved Estero resort. Such a beautiful spot. Great hotel. Clean rooms. Great food at restaurant and reasonably priced for the lovely surroundings. You could live here without a care.. Great hotel at a great price on its own private beach and property. I had a great time at the pool and walking on the beach. My room had an ocean view it was great waking up to the view. Everything you need is at the resort. We are planning another trip to the resort this summer.

great family oriented Hotel..safe & lots to do. would def reccomend this Hotel to family & friends.

I was a little dissapointed not with the incovenience distance from the hotel to Ensenada, but the shower did not have regular tap water. The water from the shower is salted, I guess it is for enviromental puroposes. The room was huge compare to the furniture, and the old TV make it look like a 1-2 star hotel.

My husband and I stayed on a Mayan room, as soon as we walk in the room we noticed this smell like sewer, we were tempted to ask for another room but we were afraid to get an acttitude from the receptionist like we did in the past , we did not want to deal with. The hotel is kind of hidden, but it is exactly what we were looking for, peaceful, quiet, great service, not fancy but very comfortable. Our Mayan room (King size bed ) had a gorgeous view. My husband and I took a long walk along the beach and the hotel grounds at around midnight and at no time we felt unsecured. We really enjoyed every minute we spent […] in this place. The restaurant food is good and fairly priced and the waitresses made everything possible to please us. The spa services are pricy so we went to Ensenada and we found great spa services for a fraction of what we usually pay. I am absolutely going back to this place as soon as I can. Mehr

Les recomiendo que renueven el mobiliario de las cabañas, sobre todo en el baño, ya que están muy deterioradas, la señal de TV no funciona bien y el televisor es muy viejo, y no hay cobertura de wifi en esta area.

me encanto el lugar, la comida del restaurat buenisima, en vdd creo que lo haremos tradicion el festejar nuestro aniversario en ese lugar.... muy recomendable en verdad!

el lugar es excelente para pasar un fin de semana largo, descansar y visitar los alrededores, pero estaría excelente que pudieran poner caldera a la piscina y tener el agua templada, porque en esta epoca ( enero-febrero) es casi imposible meterse al agua.
