Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights in the Junior suite. The positives are that the hotel is not far from the airport and many malls. It was very clean and the staff was nice but I did get the feeling they needed a little more training since they sometimes look like they didnt know what they were doing but they tried they're best. Breakfast was […] really good but it didn't change much everyday so you got tired of sausages after 4 days. You have your own fast Wifi in the room. 2 air-cons in the suite and 2 TV's. The negatives are that the bathroom was really small. and they only offer a queen size bed and it was squeaking badly when I was moving in it. There was just a small window in the room which led to a alley with air-cons. The picture of the front of the hotel here in hotels.com is not the one i saw when i arrived and i was kinda disappointed and the neighbourhood is kinda backstreet and dirty. After reading previous reviews was a little apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised! I had a late check-in (11:45pm) and was taken care of nicely at reception. The trip from the airport-Terminal 1 took about 45 minutes by taxi (cost 400 p). The small street the hotel is on was blocked off by security gate but was opened quickly by a guard. A securtiy […] guard, also at the hotel, was waiting to take my luggage. A bell-hop took me to my room. The room was very clean; the bed was in good condition, not lumpy or broken down at all. The bath area was compact with modern fixtures and very clean. There were actually two beds in the room, a full size and a twin, which took up a lot of the room space but overall wasn't too bad. I've seen much smaller rooms in Europe. If you're traveling with family and a lot of luggage you might have a little problem space wise but not something you couldn't work around. Be aware that these rooms are not spacious like many in America. The lobby area was also very clean with modern decor. I hit the breakfast buffet as soon as it opened. Probably should have waited because there was not a good selection on the buffet. I was able to find a few things to eat and did notice that there were many more items to choose from later in the morning. The lesson: give them time to prepare the buffet before going to breakfast. You'll have a much better selection. I would class this as a very nice economy hotel and would definitely stay there again. Mehr

We loved our stay in this hotel [ 8 nights ]. The staffs were really good and friendly. We also loved their breakfast! Yum! Nice newer hotel on quiet street, Fair pricing, great breakfast, good little restaurant, free Inet, warm and friendly staff. Guests are allowed in rooms without a problem. Short, cheap taxi ride to anywhere.

I had just a short stay at Guijo Hotel which was pleasant. The hotel itself doesn't have many amenities. So that's why I think it suits better short stays traveller. It's very clean and I felt safe. It's situated within a village so at the entrance there's a guard.

It is very close to the best shopping malls in the city. The hotel has transportation available if you want to go to restaurants and shops for a small fee. The staff are very polite and friendly. The breakfast buffet is good.

Thought this hotel was close to the airport but not as close as it looks on the map, the metered taxis get stuck in trafic so are expesive get the fixed price taxis from the desk 100 metres from the terminal outside doors on the right much cheeper. Makati is nothing special just lots of tall buildings and the usual dirt and polution.

A very decent hotel for the price. The room is small but is very clean. Staff are nice. What I liked the most is the no smoking policy they have. I am allergic to smoke and I was sick the 4 nights we were there (got it from the Mariana Islands). It is the residential area but the Glorietta Mall is only about $2 away by taxi. 7-11 and some restaurants […] are less than 150 yards from the hotel area. I have stayed at Tunes Hotel a day before Guijo Suites and I have no intention of going back to Tune Hotel. The surrounding area around Guijo Suites is much better than Tune Hotel and they do not have a no smoking policy. If I return to Makati and needed a place to stay, I would not mind staying at Guijo Suites again. Mehr

The staff are extremely nice and very welcoming. They always have their big smile every time they see you. Although the place is quite difficult to locate for some cab drivers but the experience of staying was more important for me.

I loved my stay at Guijo. I extended it to 5 days and then rebooked for my last night in Makati. I love this hotel. Friendly, good breakfast, great service and good location. Great value for the money. Had dinner there as well and it was very good.

Please take a map of the hotel with you so that your taxi driver can find it. It's a fairly new hotel so may not be as familiar to drivers. I loved my 2 separate stays at Guijo. I rated the hotel as "pleasing" in many areas and I hope the hotel will stay as is for future stays.

Although they are many good reviews to this hotel, I can't recommend it. The neighbourhood looks like a slum, it's very difficult to reach the hotel, the restaurant is small, and the service is mediocre at best. The hotel is overpriced.

Its clean with a fast internet. Staffs are very welcoming and helpful. But toilet is a disappointment. Too small and it gets wet when you have a shower. Taxi drivers had a hard time finding the hotel. I spent too much on taxis since there are no shops nearby.
