Excellent standards, Spa

We were more than happy with Hotel Indigo. It has a brand new feel about it. The rooms are in great condition, look good, bed comfortable, great shower. (Optional) TV/radio sound in the bathroom was a nice touch - I believe its also possible to connect an MP3 player, though we didn't try that. Complementary (non-alcoholic) mini bar with crisps, kit-kat […] and water was welcome. Had expected a good view of the city from the room, but it overlooked the inner courtyard, so not much of a view, unless you stand right up against the window! Though this didn't really bother us much. Great view from the bar and restaurant (which we didn't use) on the top floor. The pool, below the hotel, but accessed externally, with 2 saunas and a steam room, included in the room rate (which wasn't obvious when booking), was very nice. Location can't be faulted - 10 mins walk to New Street Station and the city centre, just at the back of the Mailbox, with its restaurants, etc. All in all, very good, although we have noticed that the prices have gone up quite a bit since we booked it! I had an audition at Britains got talent 2012 and stayed at The Hotel Indigo as it was at The ICC the staff were nice and pleasent,my daughter (2) got a brand new travel cot to stay in and the area was beautiful for a walk down the canal side, breakfast was lovely and view from Marco pierre whites resturaunt was lovely, a beautiful hotel with bright […] colours,i would recommend this hotel to any1 who loves a modern theme to a room/hotel Mehr

Brand new modern hotel, in a great local, and trying very hard to impress. Great attention paid to the room, to be stylish, comfortable and colourful. A complimentary mini bar was an unexpected and pleasant bonus, as was the hairdryer (a decent model - not attached to the bathroom wall!!) The gym, spa and sauna were in excellent condition. The only […] downside was having to exit the hotel to get to the gym - but that's only because the direct lift to it is not yet up and running. The view, 25 floors up, from the restaurant is good with floor to ceiling glass. And the Marco Pierre White lunch was delicious. The only downside was the overall service in the restaurant. Entering the restaurant there is no visible place to wait to be seated, and staff can leave you waiting around, with little acknowledgement. The breakfast service was erratic; with staff forgetting orders and not completing service (e.g serving tea and offering no milk/sugar) and slow to acknowledge assistance. I suspect (really hope!) this is just teething problems. The food itself was good. Overall, very good and thoroughly enjoyable stay. Mehr

This is 2 star hotel trying to be a 4 star. It's all new and finished in a cool and trendy style. BUT, it's made very cheaply and the finishings look like cheap apartment quality items. Right now it looks nice and it's trendy and cool. But it will look AWFUL in a few years, so if you're interested I'd recommend going now.
