Ich hatte ein schönes geräumige und sehr sauberes Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt inmitten der Neustadt, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten jeglicher Art sind fußläufig erreichbar, die Nachbarschaft ist total sicher. Hier kann man problemlos auch im Dunkeln noch rumlaufen ohne angesprochen zu werden. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hatte einmal für 4 Nächte […] ein Zimmer auf der 5. Etage, vom Aussenlärm hört man nichts, allerdings war die Klimaanlage auf dem Flur war so laut, dass ich nur mit Oropax schlafen konnte. Eine Woche später hatte ich für eine Nacht ein Zimmer auf der zweiten Etage, auch hier war vom Aussenlärm nichts zu hören, nur diesmal war irgendein Generator direkt an der Aussenseite meines Fensters befestigt, so dass auch hier das Schlafen nur mit Oropax möglich war. Zimmerwände sind sehr dünn, TV des Nachbarn extrem laut zu hören. Lärmempfindliche Menschen sollten Oropax parat haben! Trotzdem würde ich hier wieder buchen, weil das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für diese Lage stimmt! Mehr

Das Hotel ist gepflegt und die Zimmer sehr sauber, ohne jede Einschränkung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang tagsüber sind etwas unflexibel und verstehen weder englisch noch spanisch mit deutschen Akzent ohne weiteres. Insgesamt aber sehr freundlich und sehr angenehm. I liked the friendliness of the staff and the very good location, with lots of restaurants, shops and a large 24h-supermarket around. Only little traffic in the street of the Toscana Inn, which seems almost impossible knowing the normal huge traffic jams in Panama City.

Toscana is central and very convenient as a homebase since it's close to the freeways/major streets (except there is a TON of construction right now) and only a short cab ride away from Casco Viejo, Calle Uruguay (nightlife and restaurants), etc. and is in walking distance are a few places to eat/drink as well as shops to get a pre-paid cell phone or […] car rental. The breakfast included is not that great but has delicious fruit (lots of papaya!) and a practical option to start your day as long as you don't get sick of scrambled eggs. Coffee, tea and water all day long was appreciated some of the staff speak good english (the older day receptionist is great, but there was a younger one who wasn't very helpful at all--when we asked her to call a business to ask if they were open she wouldn't do it and kept trying to look online instead). If you rent a car, there is a private gated lot with free parking. Very glad we stayed here! Mehr

I cannot say enough about our recent stay. We arrived around 9:45pm, first thing they asked was if we would like some water, tea, coffee. Jose the bellman, jumped right on it and went & got refreshments and brought them back to the desk where we were checking in. The hotel is in a nice safe area and we felt very comfortable walking around. Jose arranged […] our reservations for a Panamanian Dinner Show, transportation to a local baseball game (had a great time, beer & hot dogs $1.00, best seats I ever had plus great fans-they kept buying me beer), taxi tours, trips to mall & transfer to cruise ship. Jose gave us his personal cell in case we needed anything while we were out & about. The rest of the staff was great, they provide water pitchers for the room (from restaurant-regular water is safe but Jose said was high in chlorine), daily Panamanian breakfast was good. Really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing that would have made it better is a pool, otherwise, I highly recommend this establishment. Mehr

A wonderful experience from the moment that we arrived until we left we felt like royalty and no problem that you don't speak Spanish.Everyone was so nice and helpful went way beyond their duty to make sure that we are happy and when it comes to cleanness we can call it spotless from the lobby,restaurant ,hallways to the rooms ,even a OCD like me couldn't […] find anything wrong .I was so happy that we choose this hotel based on review and recommendation, because the only 3 star for a hotel in Panama was a little bit of concern . Very good location in terms of restaurants. A long distance (but a cab only costs $4) to Casco Vieja or to Amador Causeway (don't know what that cab costs. Staff was friendly and responsive but not overly helpful. Breakfasts were terrific.

Service was great and very friendly. Hotel was clean and we loved the rooftop patio where we saw many birds including parrots flying around the city. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights- bookends for trip to Bocas. Hotel very clean, beds very comfy. Breakfast great- couldn't have wanted anything more! Best part is the staff here! I accidently left my jewelry behind and the staff graciously returned it when we came back at the end of the week. We loved this hotel!!!

A delightful hotel in the middle of Panama City. Surrounding area is a little questionable, although it is a short walk to a large grocery store and it seemed fairly safe. Many of the hotel guests made the same short walk as we did, so there seems to be safety in numbers. Just across the street is an excellent, small family-run restaurant, open for […] dinner only. I highly recommend it. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Many, but not all, spoke English. The bed (king) in the room was very comfortable. Television was available with many channels, most in Spanish, but enough English channels to be acceptable. Cost of a taxi from the international airport was about $35. Mehr

The hotel was conveniently located. Personnel were friendly and efficient. There was a problem with water leaking out of the glass enclosed shower which they corrected partially. Even though we are Spanish-English speakers, it seems that the cable TV lineup of channels included very few English channels to satisfy the obvious influx of US, Canadian […] and European tourists. Rooftop terrace is wonderful. There are great views of the city in the evening, and a much appreciated breeze. We were in room 101, which was noisy in the morning, as it was located next to the linen closets. If the room was not perfect, the service certainly was. Really enjoyed our stay here. It would be better if the wait staff in the restaurant spoke some English. It was very hard to communicate to them what we wanted to order--lot of pointing and hand motions to get them to understand we needed salt and pepper and never did find out how much the bottle of wine was going to cost--so we didn't order it.

Wonderful, professionally run hotel in the middle of the business district of Panama City, so an easy walk to many restaurants. Beds and towels were good. Breakfast had few options but was fresh and well made. Staff is always seeking to please. Service of complimentary water, tea, and coffee all day was a nice plus.

Great place for a couple nights in the City. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is fantastic. Jose, who is the porter/concierge, is a very good guy. Met with friendly staff and owners who were more than willing to assist us in any way we needed. Breakfasts were tasty and ample and a 24-hour supply of hot tea and coffee was appreciated. We also enjoyed a meal or two in the evening at the restaurant. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Definitely recommend.

What a great little hotel. I loved everything about this place, especially the pillows. The ambience, the friendly staff, nice firm bed. It had the best air conditioning I have every experience in a Hotel room. And did I mention the pillows; big soft fluffy pillows.

A charming smaller hotel. We liked the more intimate feel of this hotel. The staff was courteous and attentive. We enjoyed it so much, that we changed our original plans, and ended our stay in Panama City there. The rates are moderate compared to some other hotels, and the location was great.

We had a great time at this hotel, the staff was very professional and helpful. A quick and deeply appreciated side note; when I arrived the front desk lady noticed it was my birthday from my passport and my friend and I both received a piece of chocolate cake, complete with candles and a glass of wine. This was a charming small hotel well located in Panama City. I could not have been more pleased with the location and the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We were there eight nights and enjoyed it all. There were many restaurants and bars within walking distance and we felt safe all of the time. Great location and wonderful service are the hallmarks of this hotel. Everyone working there went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh fruit, eggs, toast, yogurt, coffee, tea, orange juice, and meat. The breakfast room, however, is about half the size it needs […] to be. Staff was very helpful and spoke english very well. They were available to answer questions and arrange for anything I needed. 5-star service at a 3-star price. The location was great too, right in the middle of El Cangrejo neighborhood. If you want to get a feel for how local Panamanian's live, pick this place.

You feel at home here, I like it that everything was at hand, did not have to walk far to anything, great for us senior citizens. Many good restaurants at walking distance and taxis at any time. Good breakfast was included and you could help yourself of great coffee all day long. Also the restaurant served good food at reasonable prices Very confortable […] big beds, fluffy pillows and conforters. TV was great with international channels. You can make local and international calls from your room. Saw many families with children, young couples, and not too young like my husband Gustavo and I and everybody was happy.Also enjoyed the free computer/printing machines during the 11 nights we stayed which included new year's eve with the fireworks displayed in numerous hotels in the neighborhood. Newspapers and tourist information were plenty. The concierge and reception desk employees, doormen and waiters were all very helpful and professional. Our chamber maid Dayra was excellent. Our good-size and well furnished room was very quiet, never heard the street or other rooms' noise. Great bathroom with all the conveniences and toiletries. We did not used the safe in the room since we felt there was no need and just left our passports and jewelry in a drawer and everything was safe. All in all a very good experience. We enjoyed our trip to beautiful Panama and surely will return to Toscana Inn. Mehr

We have stayed at this establishment 7 times in the last 12 months, we have been commuting in and out of Panama city to various destinations and wouldn't consider any other hotel on the city. This is not a large impersonal hotel, rather an extremely well run friendly inn, without the pretensions of the well known chains.
