Faro Suites and Conference Center - Aguadilla

VERY close to the Aguadilla airport and relatively easy to find after a 1:30 am flight. The room was clean-ish, better than I expected, and there was an iron and board which was nice. I would have liked breakfast but there are inexpensive options nearby. I did not try the pool or hottub/sauna but they appeared clean.

Restaurant Closed, Bar Closed. Rooms not clean. Front Desk, Housekeeping, Security Guard was the same person. Half Hotel under Construction. NEXT TIME I PAY MORE AND GO TO THE MARIOTT IN THE NEXT STREET.

Very good. The facility needs to be updated. Nefinitley needs a resturant at least for breakfast. Good value for what we paid.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night since we had an early flight out of aguadilla the next morning. We arrived 3 hours before check in and the front desk staff was very accommodating allowing us to get into our room early. The room was basic and clean which is all we hoped for for a one night stay. Very convenient and close to alot of places to eat. Also Surfers beach is at the bottom of the cliff easy walking distance and there is surf shop across the street. Faro suites was ok but it was not the best place to stay if your on vacation. It was not worth the money we paid plus they said it would have a phone in the room and it did not. We had to find a way to call people. The room we had smelled like mold and there was mold on the walls behind the beds and the celling would get wet from the moisture of the […] air conditioner and it would make the floors wet. We just wanted to have a place to sleep after going out to the beaches and restaurants. Next time I will stay in another hotel with my family even if it's more money. Mehr

My experince in this hotel was nice and i recomend to other to visit. The more like on this hotel is the pool and the hotels staff vey nice people. The only bad things the are not have restaurant in the hotel but they have many restaurant in hotel area.

Upkept rooms and hotel, no towels, no iron. Noisey with people outside the rooms with loud music. Light bulbs in bathroom busted. Old beds and matress with old furniture, dirty coffee pot with no coffee on premises. Locks were working poorly. No security volts in the room or front desk. Good Hotel for family visiting Aguadilla Area. Rooms are clean and comfortable for families that are five or more. A/C in good conditions. We wanted a hotel near the places that we wanted to visit: Las cascadas water park, Ice skating park and the beach. Also the kids liked the pool. I will be back next summer.

My family loved this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice with an outdoor bar/restaurant. Our suite was roomy and comfortable. We book this trip to celebrate my birthday and what a huge dissapointment. When we arrive the keys of the rooms did not work and they switch us FOUR times! In the last try they told us that if that doesn't work, they will reimburse our money and we can go to another hotel! I was furious!! When they finally find a key that works, we had to ask several […] times - A DAY - for towels; they NEVER cleaned our room and NEVER take the trash out. We had bags in which we packed the trash and take it to a dumpster in the hall that was never cleaned by them until our last day. We were there for four days and no one never came to check if we need anything. The only good thing about this hotel is the space in the room which is huge. The hotel is a remodeled military base housing so the apartment are kind of old. The furniture is evidently deteriorated. It has the basic things like air conditioning,hot water and old tvs but not any luxury found in chain hotels. For example if you want ice you would have to take a long walk to the main building to look for it and go up and down the […] stairs because there's no elevator. Too expensive for what it offers. The Hotel has potential but is mismanage. The front desk clerk can't solve any isuues unless they contact a manager or resevation who's not on site. Clerk arguing with house keeping in front of customers. First day checking in we found the room we were staying in with the bath tub dirty, broken door security lock and curtains on window hangs 4" away […] from window leaving it easy for anyone to see inside. One thing we also notice is that the comforters were not being changed after a customer was checking out. We changed rooms on the 3rd day and when we pulled the comforter off the bed we found hair. Our room was gross and full of mosquitoes and other bugs. The TV remote didn't work. The blankets had holes in them and were tattered and smelly. I don't know how this place ended up with an average of 3 stars. Maybe because the staff was very friendly and helpful; the pool was OK; the Tiki Bar food was tasty. For an inexpensive room before/or after a very early flight in or out of Aguadilla, it was OK. The staff at the desk and at the Tiki Bar were great. My family of 5 (myself, wife and children 3, 6, and 13) stayed at this hotel from December 28, 2011 to January 5, 2012. We arrived on a 3 am flight and were able to get in with no problem. The overnight security guard checked us in and all I had to do was verify with the front desk the next morning and everything was cool. Housekeeping was awesome, […] desk staff was always friendly and helpful. As a traveling surfer, I am accustomed to not always receiving the warmest welcome at a hotel, but El Faro suites was exceptionally laid back. We were concerned with noise, being so near the airport, but it was never a problem. Food at the Tiki Bar was exceptional and Leo took good care of my family. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed the Hotel's proximity to Surfer's Beach. There is a fantastic bakery within walking distance with the best breakfast sandwiches on fresh bread. I think we had something to eat from there every day. I would recommeng El Faro Suites to anyone travelling to Aguadilla to surf or enjoy this quiet corner of the island with family. There's nothing super-fancy about the hotel, but it did have everything we needed and was always clean and friendly. Muchas Gracias to the staff for making our time in paradise special. Para el precio no está mal. Deben incluir más canales a la programación dd cable. No tenían suficiente sillas en el área de la piscina y las pocas que habían estaban en malas condiciones. Auque es un hotel de 2 estrellas pueden mejor las facilidades así atraen más clientela.
