Boulan South Beach - Miami Beach

Das Hote wurde vor einem Jahr neu gebaut und ist dementsprechend modern und schön eingerichtet. Vor allem die Poollandschaft auf dem Dach ist sehr schön. Aber auch die Zimmer und die Bäder sind sehr grosszügig und sehr schön gestaltet.

I was pleasantly surprised by this "hotel". I couldn't find any information about it, but booked the rooms at a time when the hotel I wanted to say in was almost twice the price. The rooms are very large, the bathroom was also very large with a huge modern tub and large shower, and two sinks. My room has a great balcony with views of the beach, and […] there were additional comforts of a full large kitchen, large fridge, dining room and large living room with very modern funky furniture. I loved having the kitchen to make a nice breakfast in the morning, and having the extra room was also great. There is no restaurant in the hotel (looks like one is opening in the building soon). There were also not many amenities in the room (no wash clothes, only hand towels and large towels). My tissues ran out and they did not replace them, and limited bathroom amenities too. Besides this I would absolutely choose this place again just knowing I had to bring my own toiletries that I do anyway would have been helpful. Mehr

I do not think it fair at all that this is billed as a hotel. There is no food service on premises at all. No restaurant, no bar, no pool service, no room service, not even a vending machine. The rooms are actually condo apartments with full kitchens, however, there are no pots or pans or knives, not even a bottle opener, which even the front desk could […] not provide. The Boulan claims to be between the W and the Setai, both on the beach side of Collins. It is not; it is actually across the street from the Setai, so not on the beach. Other things they claim to provide but don’t are HDTV (we had a TV but no channels), WiFi, & blackout curtains (our bedroom had brown craft paper taped to the window). Spa tub - it didn't get any warmer than the pool. Neither did the bathtub in our room. There was no hairdryer in our room, and it took 2 requests and several hours to get one. There are no phones in the rooms. I will say that the rooms are beautiful, modern, big and brand new, as is the roof top garden and pool area. The gym was average (but no mats for sit-ups or stretching). As for clean, I gave it a 4 not a 5 because there were mystery long black hairs not only in our room but in the gym as well. If you are looking to rent a condo and do not want any of the amenities a hotel offers, like food or ambiance or other people, then the rooms are quite nice. But if you believe, as I did, that you are checking into a hotel on the beach, you will be sorely disappointed. Mehr

Fantastic room and hotel!

The rooms are great. If you want to cook in them (or even drink) it can be rough. Owners are responsible for stocking the cabinets and ours came with 2 wine glasses and 2 coffee mugs. So some of us had wine in coffee mugs. We opted to not cook once we saw how much it was lacking. Otherwise, rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. My biggest complaint […] would be the service. We were only there for a couple of days and there was a lot of rain. One day it cleared up so we took the opportunity go to the beach but the "beach guy" for the hotel didn't show up and all of the chairs were locked up and the hotel doesn't have a key. The front desk felt more like a lobby to an apartment building. They really didn't know much about the area - i.e. when I asked where we could get some produce, they had no idea. Mehr

beautiful room with contemporary design, great bathroom and comfortable bed.. friendly staff, quiet and fantastic location with good rates.. room looks very much like the W hotel next door where rates are more than double! wish i could buy a condo there ;)

I recommend this hotel with reservations. At first, it looked impressive, but the service & resposivess were not good. Als, they were clearly short-handed. A burnt bulb in the second bathroom left it in complete darkness. They promised to replace the bulb but never did. This was a hardship as we needed the second bathroom. There were not enough towels […] or soap. We had to call for everything & wait. As we were leaving, we had to wait for a very long time to get our car from their valet service. Mehr

AWESOME. This is a great place to stay if you want to be in a good neighborhood, excellent furnishings and close to beach. This is not a hotel, so if you are looking for hotel amenities (bar, restaurant, spa, etc). VERY spacious and accommodating, especially you plan a loner visit - full kitchen, huge bathrooms, W & D. Lots of space - full kitchen, huge bathroom + a spare, balcony, living room, and king sized bed. Also has a decent rooftop pool and hot tub. Downside - only 1 x king sized bed plus one sofa, so if you have more than 3 ppl, you better reserve the 2-BR penthouse. Also can't buy drinks/food on site, better stock up before you arrive. This was by far the best hotel I've stayed at. I wasn't expecting it to be that good! The room was great. The hotel is in a convenient location and close to everything in South Beach.

I found this hotel/condo last minute on Hotels.com. I couldn'y have been happier. If you don't need room service or other hand holding hotel services this is the place for you. The room was huge and completely renovated. We were given an early check in around 11:00 and a 1:00 pm check out time. The next time I stay in South Beach my first call will […] be to this property. Great Rental Condo Apt. Nice units, but not totally ready yet to service. No phones in the rooms. House cleaning hours are vary from day to day. Car park is not in the building but in a parking complex in the next street with a quick walk to the buiding. Rental is $15 a day (no in and out allowed), you will pay additional $15 every time that you go […] in and out. Allow 10-15 minuhtes to get your car. Mehr

excelente apartments! it's not a hotel and it doesn't have any hotel amenities. It's not hotel rooms, it's apartments you rent, good pool, excelente location, good staff.

This is not a hotel it is a Vacation rental with no services such as restaurant, or bar. It was very nice but not what I expected and it was disappointing!

It was a great find. But it is an aptartment rental not a hotel so it is not set up to have amenities one is used to at a hotel. Also, the parking is not $15 a day but$15 every time you take you car. Over all the spot is dope and make sure use check out the pool, beautiful.

Thought this was a hotel, yet when I stayed here, it was a condo, an extended stay. Has everything you need, kitchen, refrigerator, and more. If you're looking for a high end condo look and feel, this is the place to be.

large well designed rooms - finishes of medium quality - bed comfortable - furniture medium quality - nice "art deco" asthetic - friendly folks - highly recommend it.

This is a brand new property! It is very luxurious and well worth the money. The rooftop pool was magnificent, and the suite with balcony is huge and modern. I would definitely stay here again.

This large block of real estate is undergoing renovation, and will be for some time. The condo / "hotel" part is finished and so some rooms are sold on a per night basis. THERE ARE NO SERVICES IN THIS "HOTEL", more like being in a per-night-condo.

Beautiful! Close to the strip. Left an envelope with 8000 in it didn't realize until the next day and housekeeping returned it!!!

I don't write review's but once in a great while. I travel to nice places several times a year. I do my home work on each resort I choose. I once in a while get upset with pictures you see on the internet and when you arrive to find that either the pictures was 20 years ago when new or Photo shop does wonders. The Boulan was more than it claimed to […] be. South beach is not car friendly at all!! This property made your car set in a private garage nextstore and easy to get out. The rooms are private condo's and furnished out of this world. Everything is walking distance and safe. I was not able to get a room at the Ritz Carlton for that night. So I chose the BOULAN. that was my lucky day at 1/3 the price the Ritz doesn't come close to the room. not to mention the roof top pool area. Other people mention there was no resturant, so you know there is a complete kitchen. livingroom. bedroom 2 bathrooms utility room and walk in closets the size of some south beach rooms. South beach is famous for its food. when you walk out the front door the hardest thing you have to do is pick what resturant your going to eat at. Next time I go to south beach I won't need to see If the Ritz has rooms I found a new home. Mehr

We liked this place because it was clean, roomy, and good value. The beach was only a couple of blocks away and the Art Deco historic district and the Lincoln pedestrian mall were within walking distance for us, as were plenty of restaurants. We are likely to stay here again when we return to South Beach.

When I first arrived I was greater with a warm welcome. Everyone was extremely nice and helped me with whatever I needed. The room was beautiful and modern still smells new and the roof top pool is beautiful.

The Boulan South Beach is located just a few blocks from Lincoln Road and where everything happens in South Beach. It's brand new and decorated in a very modern fashion. It's extremely well kept and clean. Unfortuantely, its primary purpose is to be a condo, and the severe lack of hotel amenities is obvious. They were unable to provide me with anything […] I asked for (extra towels, soap, hair dryer), and the pullout "sofabed" was not actually a bed at all. The rooms are decorated with expensive looking furniture, but the lack of decoration and presence of empty space comes off very cold. You must valet your car for $15 a day and $15 every time you take it out of the garage. Also, the front desk said they lacked the capability of providing a receipt upon checkout. Overall, it was not too bad of an experience, as we did not spend any time in the hotel for the one night that we stayed. The rooftop pool is beautiful. The plus side of this hotel is it's very quiet and modern, but if you are looking for a comforting hotel experience that will cater to your needs, this is not the place to go. We had a girl's night out and stayed at The Boulan and it was Amazing!! Our room was beautiful and the hotel was stunning. We were in and out so didn't really get to spend time and enjoy the property, but we definitely plan to come back just to relax. The only downside is valet. I needed to leave very early in the morning and could not find anyone at […] the front desk or valet, therefore leaving me to catch a cab to my destination and coming back later for my vehicle. Mehr

A great place! Huge appartment with very modern furnitures, including fully equipped kitchen. Pool on the roof and great, modern gym. Very negative to mention is the front desk, these guys were completely useless. Not helpful and were not even able to print a receipt. But the room is just amazing.

It is really a condo, not a hotel, and lacks some conveniences of a hotel. That said, the suite was expensively finished with beautiful tile and applicances. Unfortunately, some of the furnishings - chairs, lights, mirrors - were hideous and the patio had no furniture at all. The location is very convenient for walking to the beach, Lincoln Road, museums, […] and the staff was very pleasant. I highly recommend this place. The rooms are actually large luxury one-bedroom suites, with 2 bathrooms, washing machine, dining room table, 2 flat screen TV's. They are still building parts of the hotel (restaurant, bar). The staff is very friendly. You will not be disappointed.

Checked in for an overnight stay and were pleasantly suprised. Huge room with two bathrooms, sitting area, soaking tub, and full kitchen with dining room table. Didn't use the amenities, but it certainly provides a bang for the buck. Roof top pool was a highlight. Great view and in good condition. Easy walk to the beach and just a block or two away […] from excellent food and other South Beach attractions. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Tried to tip person at desk for storing our bag and he would't take it . Parking was only $15 overnight since we didn't need car on visit. Room had nice balcony and comfortable bed. For as long as it is possible: book this place for an awesome price. This is a VERY luxurious place. sepearte living and bedroom, huge bathroom, kitchen, 2 restrooms., pool etc. It's brand new. It's upperclass 5 star. We did it and had the best room of our life. I asume It will soon be very expensive. Just do it!

The decor was modern, chic, and sexy. The lighting was bright, inviting, and expensive looking. The bed was beyond comfortable. The bathroom was HUGE! A separate giant tub and a walk in rainforest shower. The balcony was quite large and overlooked all of collins ave, very exciting both day and night. The unit had 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer and full […] kitchen - it was amazing and i felt right at home in the million dollar condo. The pool and upper deck is super sweet and has great views of the entire city. all in all, i rate my stay a 9.5 (only because the AC is like a computer and we couldn't really work it. Godt hotel med lækker pool på taget. Ligger forholdsvis godt i forhold til at det spændende på South Beach. I forhold til prisen nogle smuttere mht. køkkenudstyr og ekstraseng.

Boulan som jan 2012 bör klassificeras som ett nytt och fräscht lägenhetshotell ligger bra till nära beach och Lincoln Street med shopping, bio mm. De har en mycket bra pool med soldäck på taket och ett relativt bra utrustat gym. En mycket bra val för familj med tonårsbarn då eget kök är bra för familj med olika rytm och tvättmöjlighet i lägenhet är […] riktigt bra att ha när som vi anländer Miami efter 10 dagars resande på "vanliga" hotell utan tvättmöjligheter. Personal i reception och concergie var riktigt hjälpsamma. Rum/lägenhet var bra utustade även om lite väl kitchig inredning. Mehr
