it was a very good one

It was okay! I am from Brooklyn and still had a tough time finding the hotel. Need much better directions. The staff was okay but the elevator and portions of the hotel were very dirty!!

The hotel is in a prime location; however, it is by no means truly accomodates the handicapped.

Needed more coffee supplies - only supplies for one cup of coffee when more people are in the room is not good enough. The shuttle only goes to one subway stop and it does not have an elevator to help with luggage. Warehouse surroundings were a little off-putting and two different cab drivers did not know how to get to the hotel address. Request that […] the shuttle drive us to a different station was refused. Hotel was clean & basic. The reception staff were terrible, could not answer questions, nor wanted to help you at all! Location is ok, if you don't mind a walk, in more of a industrial area. Price is right, for what you get!

I stay here but need to get into Manhattan every day when I do, for the price its worth it. Your looking at a 20 min walk to the closest subway, newer hotel, could use a lesson on how to clean a room though. I HATE when i find a long hair somewhere, happened everyday. Again though for half the cost of something clsoer it is worth it.

What i couldnt stand about the hotel was the customer service. When I would aska question or request assistance the front desk woman would respond as if we were annoying her. Ive stayed at other choice hotels and I would say that this one was bad. I believe that customer service is the most important thing in an hotel. I would not stay here again.

Overall the palce was nice free parking and breakfast was ok very easy to get to Manhattan if you have a car

It's a nice, clean, reasonably priced, safe, well-equipped hotel. Good breakfast, free (wired) internet. The location is a little out of the way, but perfectly safe and quiet (there's a fire station next door and 24-hour parcel depot on the corner, so the area never feels completely dead). It's 15 minutes walk to Carroll St subway station, which gets […] you to Manhattan in about another 15 minutes. But it was let down a little bit by the staff. Some of them were lovely, but some were pretty gloomy and monosyllabic. You felt like you were imposing on them to ask them a question. They did that really annoying thing of picking up the phone half way through dealing with you, then getting sidetracked by a bunch of other things. By the time they're free again, they've forgotten what you wanted in the first place. Mehr

good service, nice clean room, silent nights, comfortable big king size bed, shuttle service for free until the subway station, just 20min. from NYC. perfect breakfast, very complete and delicious! Go and try it!

I am satisfied with the hotel. The only thing I missed is the room refrigrator.

I liked the room over all. The attendant was very friendly upon our arrival. He was assisting another guest, but instead of saying "Hello, I'll be right with you" he just starred at us and kept do whatever he was doing. Anyway, the hotel was nice and modern, it had a flooded basement smell, but from a former review, I saw that the sprinkler system had […] malfunctioned about a week prior to us staying. The commute to the F train was about a 15 minute walk but the area was nice (Red Hook). For drivers, the freeway is right there, so that's another positive. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no microwave. I arrived very hungry and wanted to warm up some food I had, but couldn't, oh well. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and even though I live in the city, I will definitely be back. Mehr

This hotel is really nice and clean, just far from time square, but if you have vehicle it is fine for stay, very good service except no free wifi. which is necessary for everyone. But over all good experience

The holel was nice but they did not give you enough towels and the there was not enough food for the guest. But all in all it was good.

I enjoyed the hotel, the price is definitely reasonable, it was clean, and the surrounding area was quiet. I was able to get dinner and car service which was a plus. The only thing is that alot people did not know abt this hotel since its new so walking there from Carroll Street train station wouldnt be a good idea, Its best to take a taxi or bus.Overall, […] the hotel is excellent! I had a little bit of a hard time finding the place but when I did I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is only about 4 months old, everything is new and wow!!! Great staff friendly and efficient... thank you!! Annie

Lovely new hotel very close to the Cruise Terminal .. friendly staff, rooms very comfortable and pleasant. Excellent free continental breakfast provided with lots to choose from. My son and I stayed overnight here while shooting a movie in Brooklyn. It was a clean and comfortable room with free parking! The price was great and it was easy to find. There was a free continental breakfast with make your own waffles which my son enjoyed. There isn't too much in walking distance but the front desk gave directions to restaurants in […] close driving distance. The Battery Park Tunnel into NYC is just around the corner and makes it easy to get into the city by car. We were very happy with our short but comfortable stay! Mehr

Surprisingly very nice! The price for a king was very affordable. It was a long walk from the nearest subway stop, about 20 minute walk. The surrounding area was quiet warehouses. However, upon finding the hotel was very pleased. Hotel lobby was very clean and welcoming. Room was spacious and tidy. Shower had open spaces. For the price, this place is really a steal. Its very new which means that its clean and updated. It was less than half the cost of other hotels that were probably less quality. The only downside is the location is a bit far from subways. So if you have a car its no problem, but if you are on foot it is a bit of a trek to get there. But for me, saving […] more than 50% on my rate was well worth a little walk. However, its really not far from Manhattan at all, in fact, probably much closer than many options, it just happens to be a bit of a walk from its closet subway stop. we were a family of four and were looking for a reasonably priced place with parking included in the room rate and this place fit the bill perfectly! This hotel is almost brand new and it was evident that all the furnishings, fixtures, carpet in the room, bathroom were very new which was GREAT! It wasn't close to the city though, the neighborhood didn't […] have any eateries close by, but we just stayed one night and went into nyc easily via the Brooklyn bridge. worth the money, free wifi and parking, new hotel. Less than 24 hours before driving to Brooklyn NY, I decided that I needed to stay the night. I booked my hotel room on Hotels.com with little effort. I arrived late the next night. The receptionist who checked me in was slow and didnt know the system. Otherwise, the room was clean, and I was very comfortable in a king sized bed. Not close to restaurants […] or shopping, but was convenient to the BQE. I would stay here again. Mehr

I asked the Concierge (Patricia) if Hampton Inn had a free shuttle service to JFK and she told me that they did not. However she said that she could make a reservation for me with "Go AirLink" for $35. When I gave her $40 she told me she did not have change and to ask someone at the Front Desk which I thought was inappropriate. Furthermore, I later […] found out that Go Airlink only charges $18 for the service and that Hampton Inn charges $17 to make the appointment which is excessive. Mehr

Un accueil plutôt froid, très impersonnel. Aucune explication, aucune facture comme dans les autres Comfort Inn ( ex West Chester, également réservé par internet ). Lit avec draps tâchés de sang la première nuit. Manque une ampoule sur lampe de chevet. pas de frigo ni de microondes. Absence de piscine. Impression très mitigée malgré un confort de base […] acceptable. Une grosse différence entre la ville et les comfort Inn de province. Mehr

Bon rapport qualité / prix; bonne adresse pour quelqu'un qui connaît déjà New York. N'hésiterais pas à y retourner.

Helt OK hotell, bra pris, jobbigt läge. Hotellets shuttle börjar för sent (11:00) och slutar för tidigt (22:00), dvs 15 min promenad till tunnelbana i dagsljus o taxi ($7) tillbaka efter mörkrets inbrott. Inga vägglöss.
