Fortune Plaza Hotel - Dubai

Excellent price and perfectly convenient for an overnight stay near the airport before heading off to the coast. The rooms are spacious, well designed, clean and comfortable, and no troubles with the service while charging a fraction of what the other airport hotels charge.

It was a very nice hotel. Great price. Our plane was delayed so we had to spend an extra night in Dubai. Somewhat near the airport, but not easy to get to. They had several nightclubs and restaurants. The staff was very accomodating.

For the $$$, it was worth it for one night. It is close to the airport, but no shuttle service is offered, so take a taxi.

The hotel is located close to the airport but as far as the hotel itself, I wasn't to impress on the overall cleanliness of the room and the bathroom needs to be updated. I wanted a non smoking room and that didn't happen. As soon as you walk in the door the smell of cigerates took your breath away. Not to mention there was an ash tray on the table! […] If you are a smoker and loking for a cheap hotel then it would be great for you. Mehr

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Location is right by the airport. The room was clean and the internet was quick. The breakfast was really nice. I have no complaints. It was perfect for a short business stay.

You will probably need a car to have a full satisfication of the location for the hotel.

If you are used to hearing loud jets and helicopters all night, then this hotel will be great. It has several night clubs that make quite a bit of noise until 3am. But after hearing the afterburners of jets at 3am, it just doesn't compare. Bed was great, bathroom could have had a little more light. For the price, this place is great. I must say I was impressed with the quality of room service and the low price of the food they serviced. You could order food just about anytime!

Very nice for a short stay or rest between flights. I would not spend a week here, however it is a good layover hotel. House cleaning should be replaced immediately and the hotel would be much nicer. It looks like the way men would clean: There was some mold in the shower and what appears to be a bandage still stuck on the tile near the mirror. This is a very nice hotel,but is let down by it's location. It is located at the back of the Airport runway and has the new Metro right in front of it,but a long walk to either station. It has a nice British Bar on the first floor with very reasonably priced beer and friendly staff I eventually got the room I'd booked after a little haggleing. The staff was great. Even though I checked out at 1pm (late checkout), they held my bags (including my laptop) till midnight. Cleanliness is another issue. My room had significant mold in the shower. My guess is that mine was not the only one like that. The entertainment there was horrible. The "clubs" were just bizarre, and the beer prices in the […] "Arabian" "club" were down right thievery. The two Ethiopian bouncers were very cool though. All in all, if you need a place near the airport for not-too-much cash, you could do a lot worse than this place. When I went to the airport, it turned out my flight was overbooked and I had to stay another night. Wherever Emirates put me up, now THAT place was awful. Mehr

For thepurpose of a business accommodation this hotel was ideal. Conveniently located within minutes of the airport, shuttle service available, friendly and helpful staff. Teriffic breakfast included, for about 1/2 the price of similar hotels. I will definately stay here the next time I am through Dubai

The place was nice and it was ok going into, the bathroom was nice but the tubs needs an uplift. Over all the room was good for the price!

Hotel facilities good, food selection limited and breakfast not for the hungry amongst us.

this hotel is OK for this price except the breakfast that is really poor

First, they gave different old rooms than the ones on the website. Then I had to ask for similar rooms in the pictures. The rooms are good renovated, but very noisy and there is no good isolation from the night club sound all the night up to 3:00 am. We were not very comfortable at all in this hotel. Not recommended for families with kids.

I think this hotel is not a good place for foreigners. It seems that hotel name has been changed lately. So taxi drivers couldn't find that hotel well. The price is cheap but other things (Service, Location, Room) can't satisfy customers.

Hotellets beliggenhed tæt på lufthavnen var ideel for os, idet vi bare skulle bo der en enkelt nat, før vi skulle med flyet. Hvis vi skulle være i Dubai i længere tid, ville vi have valgt et hotel tættere på centrum, da dette hotel ligger meget langt fra centrum og seværdigheder. Værelset var flot og nyt, men det virkede dog som om, alle ressourcer […] var blevet brugt på væresler, idet gange og trapperum ikke havde fået noget nær samme kærlige hånd. I princippet er det selvfølgelig også en udmærket prioritering, da det jo er værelset, man befinder sig på, og her var der intet at klage over – dog var vandet i badet en anelse koldt, og man skulle skylle ud i toilettet tre gange, før de virkede. Der er gratis internet, the, kaffe, vand, endda tandbørste og tandpasta på badeværelset. Poolen var ikke noget at råbe hurra for - vandet var beskidt og liggestolene gamle og slidte. Den tilknyttede sportsbar/restaurant fungerede rigtig godt, og maden var suveræn! Meget anbefalelsesværdig! Alt i alt et fint sted til en enkelt overnatning eller to, men beliggenheden trækker ned, hvis man gerne vil opleve Dubais centrum. Mehr

Stort och bra rum för priset. Trist frukost. Rekommenderar detta endast för mycket kort tids boende (max 2 nätter). Ligger nära flygplatsen och enda anledningen till att bo här är just detta.

Hotellets personale forsøger på alle måder at gøre gæsterne glade, næsten så de har for mange oogaver som så kun gøres halv. rengøringen er mangelfuld, vandet er koldt og børnefamilier skal holde sig langt væk da hotellets diskoteker kan høres til kl 3. Hotellet ligger ikke i nærheden af nogen turist attraktioner, men tæt på lufthavn og metro som er […] let at benytte. Senge, tv m. eng. kanaler er i top og der er gratis internet, the, kaffe, vand, sutsko og kåbe. Mehr

Un peu excentré mais le métro proche permet de rejoindre le centre ville et les points d'intérêt touristique facilement. Notre chambre au 3ème étage avait une fenêtre donnant sur la cour intérieure, cette fenêtre n'a jamais été nettoyée au point d'être opaque. Sinon l'intérieur de la chambre est propre.
