Knights Inn at Thousand Hills - Branson

I was impressed with the friendliness & professionalism of the entire hotel staff. The room was comfortable & clean. We have stayed in Branson approximately 9 times and this was the best hotel experience that we have had so far. We will stay here again when we visit Branson again. We definitely received more than the price we payed for the room.

The staff was very nice, I had left some belongings behind in the room and they called as soon as it was discovered and shipped these items to me ( I did pay for the the shipping costs, but that's to be expected). Room was clean and comfortable. We had a good time.

Clean motel with friendly helpful staff. Location is great, it is close to lots of attractions but not on the too busy Hwy 76. Nice hot breakfast offerred and there is hot coffee all day long in lobby which is great.

The room smelled musty. There was mold in the bathroom. I can handle old, but the room was gross. We found a slug on the floor in our room. I heard a cricket all night, but could never find it. My son wanted to swim in the pool, but they had it closed for servicing until check out time at noon. I will never stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Knights Inn. Loved the extra long pool hours and the breakfast was pretty good as well. Not right off the main strip, but really close. From the first contact by telephone, the clerk was friendly and polite until the checkout. The housekeeping staff was helpfu land the room was sparkling clean! We were in a no-smoking area and the air was fresh. We also were in a pet-friendly room and the air was fresh with no trace of former pet tenants. Was disappointed with room--not at all like on the internet that was picturedCheck-in time was 3pm--we had to wait over 1/2 hour to even get in our room--next day room was never cleaned--nor restocked.Dogs barking next store first day and nite--they just do not have enough house cleaning staff to do the job. I was pleasantly surprised as how clean and nice this hotel was. I am a clean freak and I was very happy to find everything clean. The beds were not uncomfortable either. Most of the staff were very helpful, polite, and freindly. The rooms were very clean and they supplied plenty of towels for the room and the swimming pool. The breakfast was good. Overall a good value for a great price.

This hotel might as well be named Hilton or of similar quality. It is because the owners, Becky and Mr. Ed (named after "that" horse) are excellent - worked at Hilton owned hotels. They and the staff make sure that the personal touch is there. For example, when we brought "Doggy bag" from Red Lobster, Becky put the food in her own refrigerator (rooms […] do not have refrigerator). When I said that the breakfast coffee is too light, they made a fresh pot of regular strength coffee. Breakfast was okay - scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, cream cheese, variety of muffins, danish, cereal. I didn't expect that they would have toothpaste for guests. I forgot to bring mine from home and they gladly gave me a tube.Bathroom was superb, shiny except for the front of the commode had some spots that should have been cleaned - maybe they missed it due to the transparent color of the spot. Pillows were superb ... mattress was a bit soft but very good. .. Bottom line is: you want Texas friendliness while you staying at a hotel, this Knights Inn is your place. And if you go there, please say Mahmood and his son said "Hello!". BTW, we enjoyed the Chinese Acrobatic show at the Shanghai Theater. Room was very clean, although a little crowded for amount of space & furniture. I would have liked to have had a tub, not just a shower. Hotel staff was very friendly and provided valuable advice on how to get around Branson to avoid the traffic strip (which is unbelievable slow). Mattress on bed was really hard with no give at all. Room was small (I had one king bed) with sink located right next to the bed. Bathroom consisted of toilet and shower, due to room size the bathroom door […] slide into the wall. BREAKFAST: the HOT breakfast was eggs, gravy and biscuits. Neither my wife nor me got beyond our first bite of the eggs as they tended to be "rubbery". The biscuit were Pillsbury Southern Style biscuits and were the dryest I have ever had, again one bite was all we could muster. The rest of the breakfast "bar" was packaged muffins, dry cereal, milk and yogart. The hotel was adequate for the price you paid but no great deal. I will explore another hotel on my next visit but would not rule out staying here again but rather just look for a better bargain in regards to the breakfast bar and room size. Mehr

Decided to surprise my husband for a Father's Day weekday away and was a little leery of the hotel considering the amazing price I got however I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff and overall condition of the hotel was amazing and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I can not get over how nice the people were! The only thing I wish is that […] we had not had a handicap accessible room since the shower had a lip for a wheelchair it was not as accommodating for us since this was not something we were in need of, however due to the special pricing that we received this was the room that was slated and so it was fine. The breakfast was typical and consisted of biscuits and gravy, eggs, bagels, toast, yogurt, and cereal along with juice, coffee and milk...not gourmet but doable and much better than having to spend money on another meal. Overall my husband and I had a wonderful 2 nights away and plan on taking a family trip back to the Branson area and will defiantly stay at this hotel again considering the great accommodation for the money If you are looking for a 5 star resort this is not the place for you, however if you are looking for family and budget friendly with 5 star service than this is a FANTASTIC place to getaway! Nice hotel for the money. Very polite staff! The first room we were given the beds had not been made. I went back to the front desk and the girl at the front put us in an upgraded room no charge and was very accommodating and regretful of their oversight. The double queen beds were very comfortable! Will stay again.

Joanna made us feel like we were family!! She went above and beyond to meet any need we had. The manager has some people issues. She disciplines employees in front of guests and that is embarrassing enough for us to probably not stay at this hotel again. There is a young man who worked the desk at night and he was very put out that he had to attend […] to a network problem. The hotel network was down and he was upset that we hadn't called tech support to have it fixed! The hotel itself is so convenient, right on the yellow route, and fairly clean and comfortable, especially for the price!! Knights Inn at Thousand Hills is an excellent place to stay when you visit Branson, MO. If you play golf It is perfect. If you want to "run" the strip (76 Country BLVD) it is perfect.
