This hotel is lovely to look at and very comfortable but the service at the front desk was poor. The phone to the front desk didn't operate and when we were leaving, even after they saw the number of bags we had, no one offered to get us some assistance. It also took several tries to straighten out a extra day and the parking fees. The room itself was […] lovely but it needed more seating room. One day we returned and the dirty coffee cups were left. We stayed two nights here and enjoyed it thoroughly. It has a nice location and the hotel was clean and modern. The rooms were also nice and modern but definitely a little on the small side. Bathrooms were well appointed. I would definitely stay here again

I must say I was impressed even before I arrived. I had called prior to see if whats the earliest I could check in and that was taken care of without a problem. I was also asked if there was a special occasion for staying, which I was and upon entering the room there was a plate of chocolates on a nice fancy plate with Happy Anniversary with a card […] made out to us. I must say, they know how to treat people here. I also took advantage of the lap pool, the sauna and steam room. Staff would pass occasionally to see if you needed anything which reminded me of the service I received at a fancy Las Vegas hotel I had stayed at. The room was very contemporary and clean. The door men were really funny and willing to help as well. I loved my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. I am sure I will come back to stay someday again in the near future.. .. Mehr

A clean stylish (though some people may find the decor a bit over the top) room. Fast free wireless internet. Very convenient location right in the middle of downtown. Close to Millennium station for trains to the Univ. of Chicago and the south for Chicago and also close to the Art Institute of Chicago. Check out the fantastic coffee shop "Intelligentia" […] nearby for breakfast. Mehr

Very nice hotel. It's in great new condition, modern. I was disappointed that it didn't have a bath tub and fridge. It would be perfect if the parking would be free... It's 43$ a day. Everything else was great.

A client of mine lives in the building and recommended us to the hotel. We live in Chicago and were celebrating her birthday without our son. We arrived to the hotel late Saturday afternoon to lounge around before dinner at Fillini the restaurant in the hotel. We went to their miniature lap pool and hot tub to hang out, but the hot tub was nasty. It […] had discolored bubbles that floated around on the top. It was not a nice start to a get away weekend for us. We went back to our room before dinner to get ready.,The room was great! It was small but very clean and put together. We had reservations at Fillini at 6:30 PM that evening. When I called to make the reservations I asked for a booth and told them that it was my wife's birthday. We got to the host desk and she brought us to a table instead. I insisted on a booth after she brought us to the table and delightfully agreed. (Why would you ask me when I make a reservation if I would like a booth and then not communicate it on their open table system.) We sat down and there must have been another miscommunication from who was going to be serving us. A young gentleman with a dirty blue and white striped apron ended up being our server. He was nice, but did not believe in the restaurant that he worked in. We would ask him questions for recommendations and he would say stay away from that or don't eat that it did not look very good today. We asked him where to have breakfast the next morning and he told us to go the four seasons because the breakfast here is not good. That pretty much set the tone for the rest of my experience at dinner. The food was OK. We had the bruschetta, which no one and their mom should ever eat. It was a piece of bread not even toasted with shaved celery, a cherry tomato, and an unseasoned piece of Shrimp on top. My wife ordered her Niman Ranch steak medium and it cam out bloody and red. I was traveling for business stayed at the Brand New Aqua Blu in Chicago. Outstanding service, great amenities (free business center with conference room, indoor/outdoor pool, extensive gym, good restaurant and SEPARATE bar). I found the location perfect for my needs, but it is a little bit tucked away - it's off of Wacker, not on it; it is on the Pedway. […] Great views of the Navy Pier, easy walk to everything. We have stayed at 4 different hotels in Chicago and the Radisson Blu was by far the best! The location couldn't be better and the accomodations were superb. The room was generous sized and the decor was delightful. Highly recommend.

The decor and quality of this hotel is next to none. I can't wait to stay here again. Worth every penny.

I was, and still am, SHOCKED this hotel was as inexpensive as it was. It's brand new, absolutely gorgeous, and right in the middle of EVERYTHING. I'll definitely be back for both work and pleasure.

We LOVED this hotel! It's brand new (about a month old) and very modern. The bar and fireplace areas are quite beautiful and extremely unique. My wife and I just spent a quick weekend in Chicago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blu. While it still has some issues to iron out (temperamental elevators/not enough maids/no towels at pool), it is well on it's way to becoming a phenomenal location. The rooms are very compact, yet we never felt claustrophobic. Judging from the floorplan on […] the back of our door, we had the smallest room on the floor. But we didn't mind. We could see the river, the lake and Navy Pier from our tiny room. And that blue carpeting is just so welcoming. The rooms boast energy efficient light switches and Euro-style toilets. If it's not already, I would think this hotel will be LEED certified soon. Both nights, we had evening cocktails in the wonderful Filini bar. The decor and service were top notch. The hotel's service from top to bottom, was exemplary. It's refreshing to see a staff (who work so well together) that is so interested in your happiness. I wouldn't surprised if the staff is comprised of some of the best employees from other Radisson Blu's around the world. Highly recommended. Mehr

The hotel was great, and the staff was awesome. We are in Chicago a lot and will use this hotel again. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The Aqua is brand new and looks great. Rooms are well appointed, staff was top notch, and I had a great time.

What a delight! Thanks to a great deal on Hotels.Com, I was able to plan a wonderful reunion with my girlfriends for two nights. The rooms were fantastic, hotel decor is lovely and every staff member we encountered couldn't have been nicer. The location in downtown Chicago is one of the best with easy walking access to Michigan Ave., Navy Pier and the […] Millenium Park, to name a few. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast. Modern amenities. Clean. Friendly staff throughout including front desk staff, housekeeping, bellmen, pool attendant. Lunch at bar included meat & cheese tastings and these were all excellent.
