If you want somewhere that's value for money and offers you the basics for a decent night's stay, then this place could be for you. Room was clean and... welcoming, furniture is a bit dated, but serviceable. Bathroom was spotlessly clean, but some of the floor tiles were cracked. Shower was good. All of the room needs some TLC as decoration is basic. Free wi-fi as advertised and a TV with lots of channels, plus a DVD player built in. Only drawbacks were (1) it is on a busy high street and directly opposite a Fire Station, so you need to be a heavy sleeper, (2) Single glazed windows let in a bit of noise, especially from the buses outside the window. Other guests had a tendency to slam their doors! But having said all that, I've rebooked for this week as minor irritations don't outweigh a good location and price!!
