Das Hotel war super, nur ein paar Stationen bis zur Oxford Circus und dem erstaunlichen Westfield Shopping Center auf der anderen Straßenseite. Große Zimmer mit hervorragender Ausstattung, vor allem sehr ruhig. Das Personal war unglaublich hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat alles, was man für einen City-Trip nach London braucht. Frühstück nahmen wir nicht in Anspruch, dafür gab es alles nah in der Umgebung. Für Selbstversorger bestens geeignet.

"Brilliant stay"

"The Pilot Inn in London - friendly & professional"
We couldn't fault the Pilot Inn on anything. We received a warm welcome and checked in quickly before being shown to our room. We stayed in the middle size room, which was quite compact (as you would expect for a prime location in London) but very well equipped. We then ate in the pub before going to the concert at the O2, and enjoyed good quality pub […] grub, and once again friendly and efficient service. In the morning the complimentary breakfast was exceptionally good quality, and cooked to our request. The perfect start to the day! Mehr

Superbly located for the O2 - nothing better. Staff all really welcoming. Only criticism would be the lighting in the bedroom - otherwise fab.

If the purpose of your visit is to attend the O2 Arena, this is the only place to stay. Less than 5 minute stroll along well lit and clean path. We were back having cup of tea in our room before most people found their cars.Tube and bus station connecting rest of London at O2 arena so easily accessable.
"Generally good"
Meet & greet = friendly & showed me to the room and general chat about facilities. The rooms are above the pub, so expect noise up until closing time. Single bed, some struts were missing and needed to be replaced and bulb missing from lamp, however the facilities are good. I guess they just need to keep an eye on the detail.
"Booked Wring Date - Got Slammed with Full Charge"
I booked The Pilot for Weds 23rd November for the ATP tennis at the O2. It seems I made an error in my online booking and booked it for 23rd September instead which was unfortunate as I was away on a weekend in Worcester (otherwise I would have jumped on the tube and stayed in the hotel!). I received a phone call from the hotel at around 10PM on the […] Fri night asking me when I was arriving. I was very confused as to who was calling and thought it was regarding a restaurant reservation from the night before. When I realised what had happened I apologised profusely explaining I must have booked the wrong dates and it was meant to be a room for me and my mother who travels over from Spain every year for the tennis. I was greeted with an awkward silence on the end of the line and was then told in no uncertain terms I would have to get charged the full rate for the room as they would otherwise have sold the room and anyway, there wasn't any availability on November 23rd (information which served me no purpose whatsoever at this stage). I asked if there was anything they could do and was informed that the lady would speak to her manager and they would let me know what they would do. Needless to say this did not happen (I received no follow up) so I thought the hotel had been understanding - unfortunately I have just checked my credit card statement and the full charge has been applied. I 100% understand that this is my error and that I should have checked my hotel confirmation, but I don't think the hotel should have given me piece of mind by telling me they would see what they could do and slamming the charge on my card without any notification whatsoever. I will be booking the cheaper chain hotels again in future. I genuinely hope The Pilot did not manage to sell my room again. Sorry to be so mean but I am annoyed with the fact I was given a false sense of security following a genuine mistake, by an unsympathetic member of staff who did not follow up as promised. "Pilot Inn in Greenwich"
We really enjoyed our stay at this small and charming little inn. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice and the service excellent! The rooms though a little small are very comfortable (loved the super soft and comfy beds!) and cozy. The room price includes a nice big breakfast with a fair number of options, from hot porridge and cereal to fried […] eggs and omelets. The Pilot Inn's Traditional English Breakfast is a way to go though; it was excellent! The place is a bit out of the way of the main attractions but is within a walking distance from the underground as well as has easy access to the main part of Greenwich by bus. Overall, Pilot Inn is a great deal in generally pricey London. We would definitely stay there again. Mehr
"Pilot Inn - perfect place to stay when at The O2"
What a littole gem this is! A 5 min walk to The O2 and yet the room is like a 4 star hotel - everything you could want. Adn the staff are so attentive - nothing was too much trouble. Am glad I took the plunge and stayed there as I got to The O2 a fair bit - I'll be back for sure!
